Perhaps the only person who 'played the game better' is Lord Bronn of Highgarden! Started out as a sellsword on the Kingsroad, protecting Catelyn Stark, on the way to the Eyrie... Ended up following Tyrion Lannister, got rich, got influence, got to follow Jaime and Cersei Lannister who ruled the Capitol. After the greatest war, and the annihilation of a number of Great Houses, He got named Lord Paramount and Warden of the Reach, Lord of Highgarden, and Master of Coin. Brienne got her heart's desire and not only became the first female Knight of Westeros, she even made it Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. Still think Bronn has the better part out of it though. Massive castle to rule, véry rich and fertile landsof the Reach to oversee and get even richer!(the Tyrells were actually richer then the Lannisters, they just didnt know it, and Mace Tyrell was too stupid to put it to work anyway). Imagine a real tactical mastermind like Bronn, HOH! He's probably thé most powerful Lord in all of Westeros now......Not too bad, if you realise where he started....

Who said they broke up? There was no wrong between them or their relationship. It's just a matter of context and also their attributed professions and well ... status. Okay they cannot be a couple anymore in THIS state of affairs, but somehow they never were and they were never going to be. It's only love. Only love. And it makes it beautiful, and undestructible. I believe Brienne will be able to love Jaime even better now that she will stay in Kingslanding working as a Knight in the Kingsgard. Pregnancy would have been a serious issue in her human condition ! Jaime never wanted to be an obstacle or a burden. to her. To me, they didn't broke up. It was the best way for him to love both women, and make his love eternal to both of them.

I love her character so much. I hope we’ll get to read her journey more in winds of winter and the next book

Not only that but even though most people have treated her poorly all her life -- belittled her, criticized her, rejected her, ridiculed her, underestimated her -- she doesn't allow herself to use this as an excuse for treating other people poorly in return. Brienne is a bit different onscreen from the way she is in the books -- while I very much like Gwendoline Christie's portrayal of Brienne, I don't think she captures Brienne's underlying sensitivity. Brienne knows only too well how painful it is to be in a position of vulnerability and so when other people reject her and imply that the only reason why anyone would ever want her is for her father's lands, instead of turning her back on other people, she doubles down and chooses to live a life of service. She wants to feel that she's done something meaningful and worthwhile with her life since she doesn't believe that she will be able to fulfill the role appointed for her according to her station (that of wife and mother).
