Any chapter that is just Mika & Yuu being happy for a little while is a great chapter in my book. Though it really feels like the calm before the storm, and I have a feeling that there will be some sort of major plottwist in relation to Shikamas motives. I already mentioned this in the reddit chapter thread, but I feel like Yuu is trying really hard to cheer Mika up and to just let him feel happiness again to rekindle his motivation and will to live. People don't really change overnight and it's already clear from this chapter that Mika is still pessimistic about their whole situation, and I wouldn't even be surprised if he was still planning to sacrifice himself as part of the master plan he's cooking up, and I'm sure Yuu would know it if that's the case and is putting in all the effort to get Mika to look forward to a happy future together after the war.

I agree regarding plot twist on Shikama’s motives- otherwise what else is Saito doing by looking into Shika’s past to find his true goal? I’m thinking it could be that Mika’s creation had a greater purpose. Absolutely, Yu is being a sweetie to Mika in this chapter and trying to make him think more positively, it’s very heartwarming. I just hope that Mika can actually start thinking that way. I’ve always liked Mika for being realistic compared to Yu, and the way he cautions against Yu doing ‘reckless’ things, but as time has gone on I’ve realised it’s not so much realism but pessimism/self-hate. I want him to be happy 💔

FINALLY!!!! I’ve been waiting for the plot to progress for EONS!! Hopefully next chapter we’ll get to see Shikama Doji’s full past as well as how he became a Fallen Angel, what Sin he exactly committed, and why Mikaela was sentenced to Death by the Heaven’s the first time around. I can’t wait to finally see the full revelation of what’s been fueling the core plot of Seraph of The End. Who’s ready to see the beginning of the end, of Owari No Seraph! 😁 I’m gonna miss this series… 😢

It’s going to be so weird, finally getting answers after so long, but I must say, I’m ready for it. 😊 It is kind of weird to think of the prospect of it ending though. We’re a small community but lively, and I will miss interacting with everyone when it’s over. 😢 still, I’m thinking we should have at least a year or two of the story left, even if it is the final stages.

@ARTEMIAZ Hopefully so, I would like that.☺️ Yeah, this fanbase has a really small population, but that’s what makes it so connected and interchangeable. We all have such a neat little tidy spot here on the platform that no one comes and bothers us, and we’re really reactive when we meet each other due to how few of us there are.🥹 I’m gonna miss Owari No Seraph, it’s been a huge part of my life, and seeing it go makes me feel like I’m losing a part of myself that’s been with me for a long time. 😔 I know it’s for the best though, I wouldn’t want this series to continue on so long that everybdoy just up-and-abandons it and moves on to better things. I want to see this whole journey through together with you guys.😊 and I hope we’ll still be able have fun along the way even after this Manga ends. Looking forward to all the tears, and memories we’ll be making as this beloved series comes to a close. -Best Wishes; Ali ❤️💚

I loved this chapter smm 😭 I wanted Ancient Greece lore but I can wait another month.. atleast we get a cute Mikayuu date ( it’s canonically a date I’m kagami) and I finally got to see the other vampires again 🫶 I also wanna know what Gurens plan is now if he’s still somehow alive

Maybe Kagami didn’t want the Christmas chapter to be too heavy/depressing, so he gave us the Mt Fuji (not) date instead 😂 I really hope next month we don’t get a scene change 🤞

Well we are probably going to get a longer chapter next month since it releases on Jan 10th ( which is my birthday 🥳) . I just hope that they explain what is even going on 😭

It was so obvious the chapter was going to end before we got to any big revelation. This was my first time checking out the chapter in English, and there's already a couple of things I'm dying to point out! Thank you for making this reaction video! I'm getting addicted to seeing people's raw reactions to the newest chapters without any external influence. I'm looking forward to your reflection video!

Thank you, I’m really looking forward to your commentary on the translation differences! 😁 Tbh I’m no longer surprised when a chapter ends without plot revelation, just faintly amused/disappointed 😅I’m hopeful though that Kagami can’t back out now from revealing stuff next month- we’re literally on the precipice 🤞 I’m not sure I actually have anything to reflect on this time… I will have a think 🤔

This chapter was sweet but unfortunately that’s exactly what makes me so nervous 😭 Also what really interests me is that it really looks like everything is leading to some kind of plot twist in Shika’s memories? But everyone (including Saito) already knows that all Shika wants is to resurrect Mikaela (which is exactly why everyone is against him now). So what exactly will change if they just hear it again? I feel like there should be something more…Something more that Shika wants that will make Saito want to destroy it…Idk maybe it’s just me but I really feel like some kind of big revelation is about to happen that concerns Shika’s motives. Maybe Yuu really is the one who is behind the end of the world (since the line after the chapter is smth about finding a person who ended the world)? Or maybe Shinoa is a Goddess and that’s why her birthday is December 25??? These are jokes but who knows? 👀

Yes I agree it seems like we’re being setup that there is something more to this. Maybe it’s not just that Shikama wanted to create Mika for the sake of it, but he created him for a reason. Ooo I didn’t know that about the end lines- finding the person who ended the world? It’s so tempting to speculate but we have really nothing to go on 😂 we just need to be patient and wait.

Chapters are getting complicated in every month im glad that mika and yuu were finally happy and smiling in this chapter but knowing that this happiness won’t last too much hurts a little. As usual the chapter end in the most interesting part wich makes me so sad but i think we will get a bunch of good information in the other chapter

Yes, I think it was very sweet of Yu to make some happy memories with Mika this time. Usually bad things happen to them so fast, they never have the chance to get their thoughts and feelings in order beforehand. It was lovely to see Yu trying to make Mika smile 💕 I can’t wait until next month! 😁

It’s very surreal isn’t it? The series has been going for such a long time but it definitely feels like we are nearing the end. Still, I think we should have a year or so of chapters still to go!

something i found kinda worrying; “Aokigahara has become associated with suicide, eventually becoming known in English by the nickname "Suicide Forest" and gaining a reputation as one of the world's most-used suicide sites.” the sea of trees is another name for this place rlly making me concerned

Oh lord, I didn’t know that! That adds another ominous layer to the chapter… I’ve been mentally preparing for them both to die for a long time, but I’m not sure how I will feel if it actually happens 😅 Also, another part of me feels that the story is pushing us so strongly to expect them both to die, that it would almost be… too obvious an outcome? 🤔 but then maybe I’m being tricked into having hope 😂

I personaly think that yuu is the one who is going to be "the devil" because if you think about it, he is the only one who has been almost every species but not vampire so I think something will happen he if turn into a vampire like they will all merge into one and he will turn into like lucifer or something. Sorry for the bad prononciation, English is not my first langage.

This chapter was literally empty calories. It was nice, it tasted good, but without any nutritional value 🤣 At least Shinya and Kureto showed up. I wonder what happened to the rest of Guren's squad though. The next few chapters at least promise to be more interesting, giving us the backstory we've been begging for since Shikama's first appearance... unless Kagami trolls us again and cuts to like, how the Shinoa squad survived Yuu going Raigeki on them.

Empty calories- alternative chapter title 😂 Omg I would throw a fit if we get trolled 😂 that being said, the fate of the Shinoa squad needs to be revealed. The fact that Mika and Yu didn’t even acknowledge it during their date really annoyed me 😂
