This is one of the best anime I've ever seen, and not from personal enjoyment(I'm more of a gore/horror type of girl), but from a professional reviewing point. I'ts a masterpiece form what it is, an action supernatural anime. The main idea is quite basic, but well made. The main characters are well developed, but can still be unexpected. The animation is gorgeous. Both scenery, motion and characters. There's not too much of romance and friendship cliches (although the is a family one), and the humor is quite refreshing. Btw, it's really impressive, that they were able to pull of the vampire part professionally!

poor mika and yuu because mika became a vampire at a young age and yuu was just a kid and saw him get bitten and yuu let mika bite around of applause for the creater of this anime♥ ♡ :-) ;-) :-D XD
Probably not gonna have a season 3, but the Manga is ongoing and in chapter 90, Mika tells Yu he loves him- lots of people have been saying that the way this is said in Japanese is the same as the way its said between Mahiru and Guren, which would imply that it's meant in a romantic way. Not going to spoil any more than that, but I hope this helps!
