One idea I had for acting on Seraphine's potential is for conflict with her parents. Think about it, they spent all of their money on A) getting to Piltover so she can have a good life, and B) getting her the Brackern crystal. If she finds out what it truly is, she'd most likely stop using it for obvious reasons, as well as get into conflicts with Piltover's elite over the treatment of the Brackern. Seeing her stopping using the gift she got and fighting against the city she grew up in, they'd probably feel like she's throwing everything they've done for her away. That could make for a really interesting story in my opinion.
Seraphine has potential and I hope Riot expands on that potential rather than choose to ignore her lore just because she was poorly received. I’ve seen a ton of people saying that Riot should just scrap the character, which is… ridiculous for a huge number of reasons, but more importantly I think that Riot shouldn’t just retcon any story that was poorly received. This goes for the Ruination too. I hated Ruined Pantheon but “In Battle Broken” made me retroactively like it a lot more, because something genuinely interesting and compelling came out of it. Past mistakes can still create good stories if you choose to BUILD on them instead of ignoring or walking back on them. The same applies to Seraphine. Tell us more Seraphine stories. Show us what it’s like to be Seraphine, to be completely overwhelmed by the songs of people’s hearts. Let her interact with other Piltover and Zaun champions in those stories, and develop dynamics with other characters like Ekko and Zeri. Heck, why not Zac? He also deals with being overwhelmed by emotions like Seraphine. Maybe she can help him. Maybe they can form a team of young champions fighting for Zaun, and Seraphine can be their voice up in Piltover, fighting for Zaun to be heard. Make her an important part of the world.

Seraphine is a lovely and diverse champion to play at that , but her lore always makes me wonder about her potential. She has so much they could with her story. Just give her the right amount of relevance and meaning to the overarching conflict and we've got an amazing pick fight there. It's not just that, her design should be updated likewise
Honestly the best video I've come across criticizing seraphine period. You said it the best near the end that a champ can't be that bad to justify harassment, abuse, and being toxic over a fictional character. Its funny how the same ones saying she's fictional to those who were partaking in her twitter are acting like the things she did in her previous lore were real hate crimes. Like riot really tried to do something different only for it to be shitted on so hard cuz of the few mistakes they made along the way, I low key feel bad for the writers and team that's dealing with all this backlash.
I'm hoping they'll see the potential in her and use it properly (whether it's going to be through Arcane or through written stories), but I fear that's not going to happen because of how much hate surrounds her. Like you said, the way people treat her is what is preventing her from being more than she currently is.
Yeah, I really hope we'll get some kind of follow-up on her story at some point. I think they could easily make her a great or at least decent character in the lore, even just with one good story.
Not at all. There has been a plethora of constructive criticism & suggestions for fixing the character. Lore rewrites, monetizing & reworks, but all of them have fallen on deaf ears. Rito are the ones who are trying to push this Mary Sue persona; Rito are the ones who will not let her be anything more than a vapid cash cow.

People dislike her THAT much that if Riot ever tries to include her in some projects, they'll just start crying and saying they ruined everything without even giving her a chance. It won't be easy for people to warm up to her and if Riot wants us to like her, they need to take a risk and try to do SOMETHING with her character. But seeing how she was first received (and still is), they preferred to take the safe way and leave her to be boringly and insipidly mediocre. They don't want to do something with her because they are too afraid (and lazy) that hatred will explode again and even more. I may be wrong, but I don't see that many people around willing to give Seraphine a chance...

Rito has safe ways to fix the character & literally all of them stem from customer-provided feedback: - Break up her fake ass "Ultimate" into the 3 Epic skins it actually is & sell them separately. - Retcon her into a villain or a revolutionary (villain is the more popular of the suggestions) - Redesign her in-game model, all 3 of her concept arts were better than the shit that's Live. Scrap the hoverboard. - STOP GIVING HER LITERALLY 4X AS MANY SKINS AS ANY OTHER FUCKING CHARACTER IN THE WHOLE GAME. Not even hyperbole, she is currently averaging 4x as the popular champs get. - Revert Sona back to her original kit from before patch 4.13. This would completely put any comparison of the 2 to bed & Sona would finally be viable again for the first time in 8 years. Literally nobody would be angry about any of these implementations.

You yourself said that one of the suggestions people sent them is making her a villain or a revolutionary. Doesn't either of the two mean taking a risk and doing something with her character? That's exactly what I was talking about. Also the ultimate skin. Yeah I agree, it shouldn't be an ultimate, I think a legendary would be better.
I just wish she reflects her goal, a clothing style that mixes Zaun culture and Piltover culture. For me, I think if she mixed both she would at least seem like she cared about both regions, showing that the regions can coexist.
I’ve seen someone on Reddit claiming to be a character designer who said she looks out of place on purpose. She’s designed to be a popstar in a stage outfit, the P/Z equivalent of Lady Gaga or Madonna or Beyoncé. You don’t see Beyoncé going for the groceries dressed like on stage. Lady Gaga used to dress weird off stage in the The Fame era and people thought she was a bit nuts too.
Part of my problem with her is that she doesn't fit her lore, she is supposed to be the bridge between the two world, and yet she doesn't try to fit in any nor tries to make a bridge, her whole thing is basically force in for Kpop when Jazz metal would have been better and fit the lore more. Btw you should listen to jazz metal it's a really good genre of music combining the calmness of jazz and the wildness of rock, granted it usually lean toward the rock bit, it's a really good music for doing active activities like exercise and such but not destroying your ear like the usual rock.

I’ve been maining her since I started playing and I think you did a good job explaining my gripes with people that blindly dislike the champ to follow the dude-bro hive mind.
Also people tried to attack Nilah with the whole “I hate cute female champs” Shtick. But she actually doesn’t fit it at all with her facial structure, messy hair, and personality.

If this video made this space that tiny bit larger, that's all I could ask for. Also, about your Nilah point: yes, yes, and yes. I don't get the backlash she's gotten - Nilah's design actually seems fairly unique to me, and her story is, in my opinion, really good (Well, if they build upon it in the future, but that's the case for everyone).
@@DelusionalPoet I really love Nilah’s backstory and current lore and I’ve actually been a strong advocate for Sera’s lore as well. Seraphine is a troubled, young Zaunite who is pestered by the songs of all the souls around her. She also wishes to unite the cities again the only way she knows how. She’s criticized by a lot of champs for this such as Gwen, Renata, and Zeri- which might be Riot pandering to the hate or it just *might* be teasing some upcoming lore for Sera where she takes an actual stand. (I can only hope.) I also hate it when people say that she’s using the brackern while knowing their souls are trapped within hextech- but it’s been written in her lore that the souls inside the gems actually help her and have befriended her, as she’s the only one who truly knows and feels them. I think the fact that she can hear and understand people’s literal SOULS is the craziest and most fun thing I’ve ever seen. She’s very interesting, people just need to give her a chance.
Want to give some of my thoughts on the video as I watch and go through it. For reference I am someone who disliked Seraphine, mostly because of her regular/canon appearance being heavily shafted in comparison to K/DA but there are enough forms of content out there that go over that which I feel is redundant to go over. Then that dislike turned into disappointment and what I feel was quite missed potential with LoR finally starting to remedy that to an extent. (Which I only just realized now was not a publicly known thing until after this video was out. ) Part 1, Sona vs Seraphine: I feel like the Seraphine and Sona gameplay segment is pretty inaccurate cause they are being compared from the current state of the two over when Seraphine came out. It wasn't until about a year later that Sona got the passive changes and ability buffs she has currently. Which included the minigame and reduced mana costs among other things to help separate them. Then riot almost entirely balanced Seraphine around her role in the bot lane rather than giving her the options which they claimed of being a mid laner and a support only to be only a support. (There's technically the whole thing with WR Sona but that came out after this video. ) Part 2, character design: I never thought about the whole intentionally standing out part which is neat to think about. But personally feel like if it was just that it'd be one thing. With how much closer she feels to her K/DA design compared to Piltover is what personally rubs me the wrong way. Part 3, Lore: My personal problem with the lore comes in the form of how many resources and time went into the K/DA lore comparatively to her regular look/lore. Like so much marketing, art, time, and forming up a fanbase that in return put up a guard for any negativity for the champion with an army of rabid defensive fans to quickly brush off and deflect any form of criticism. (Unfortunately even now none of that has changed with her getting 5 skins, bits of lore for those, and a prestige skin on top of that) And I see you're also someone who latched onto the whole Seraphine and Camille angle some people have. Conclusive thoughts: There was a lot in the video I did agree on and the responses I had were only in the form of stuff that I had some sort of issue with. She had and still has so much potential in what she could do but the clear priority in what they did with her clearly dragged the rest down. The only part without that issue is kinda the gameplay side but even then who knows how much influence it could have had like the rest of the things about her. LoR is something that showed she still has that potential but given the state of the company, the current mystery of hextech, and the one tie she had with another champion being retconned elsewhere who knows what the future may hold for her. Be it as an actual champion or sticking to their priorities with her and using her to make profits over making a character that lives up to the potential she could have.
Oh I agree that it SHOULD, but I'm not sure it actually does. I just don't feel like Riot is going to put any more significant investment into Seraphine knowing it will probably flop either way
It absolutely should but given recent champs voicelines towards her (specifically Gwen’s) it seems like riot is going down the path of just not improving her character

Rito isn't a single entity (it feels weird saying that) & many of their employees & ex-employees share the negative sentiments with the community. Riot Mort said the character should be killed off, several support staff have voiced dislike for her, former employee Captain Flowers absolutely despises her. Rito has multiple champion-design teams & if I had to guess, these champs were made by different people from those who created $atanphine.
I would say Seraphine is a lots of untapped potential, but her story and current characterization is at best second draft. In my opinion the writers tried too hard to make Runeterra Sera an "Every man" in an already established world. Its especially noticeable post Arcane. She is a piltovan mage of zaunite immigrant parents. Riot could have connected her to Graves and Twisted Fate; As TF attempted to get Graves out of a Piltovan prison he found a much younger Seraphine overwhelmed by the voices and gave her a 3 year apprenticeship for self control. While at the same time Graves is released from prison by Silco's influence so he could train a young Jinx in firearms use construction, maintenance, and ordinance safety. Both Jinx and Seraphine could be acquainted through their prospective masters. Through Jinx, Seraphine could be acquainted with Ekko, as a Piltovan-zaunite she might be aware of Viktor as a scientists and after coming in contact with her hex-tech crystal she could try to reach out to Viktor for answers/clarification. Riot could even introduce her white cat as a gift from Viktor as Professor Von Yipp as a spy/ companion. I think the writers were so focused on the pop-star aspect they dropped the ball on her potential character.
I LOVE playing Sera and I have also played Sona but I prefer Seraphine b/c I do not like playing characters that are very "in your face" and have to be in the middle of things. I like that I can help from a far. I like that I can place distance between me and the others. Sona does need to be closer to her ally. They are very different when you play them.
I'm so glad for this video. As someone who have loved Seraphine ever since her release I always thought all of this. I do agree that being a Seraphine main was hard back then! I got posted on sites as well just for defending seraphine. it was a pretty disgusting time honestly it made me lose all faith in humanity. I had to go through my own teammates banning Seraphine in lobbies just so I can't play her and telling me to go and play Sona. I love that someone actually talked about Seraphine with an open mind and didn't just go after the hate bandwagon. I wish they explained her clothing well in her story. Cause on the merch website i believe it was said that she actually made her stage outfit and shes kind of crafty. I dont understand why that wasnt explained in her lore.

Watched the whole video, and as a Seraphine mid main, I really agree with you. One thing about the seraphine vs sona argument, Seraphine was designed to be a mid lane mage, that is why she's better in a carry role, while sona is an enchantress.

i think the sona issue extends to the design, actually. both are these floating magical musical maids using some large equipment to channel their powers (that are very similar as well, in many aspects). that may have added to the initial "sona 2.0" perception. i also think that from the start riot was more concerned about her being profitable as a KDA member than being a champion. i mean, it shows. her lore has all the elements for her to be a very interesting, relevant character in many ways and yet she is not. GOD, she's a delusional empath teenager in the middle of piltover/zaun, there's just so much for her to be in touch with. hoping that the skarner rework adds something to her.
Another thing people always criticize is that she got famous too easily and too fast. That's... actually something that never bothered me much. I mean, doesn't it make sense that she became well-known easily because of her enchanting voice and her empath powers? Maybe people felt magically enchanted when listening to her voice, maybe she transmitted positive emotions/feelings when singing, or maybe she made them feel... united? I don't know, I always assumed it had something to do with her having that kind of powers.
Honestly thats just how it works in real life. I mean even popstars and celebrities in real life can become famous easily and incredibly fast as well. Most of the time it's not the case but all they need is one big break like a song or movie blowing up and it's instant worldwide success and popularity.
I feel like you missed a lot of the points with the criticisms against her. For example: you said that Riot has always released hot female characters.. like that isnt the point. The point is that EVERY character released regardless of gender has been conventionally attractive, from Renata all the way to Neeko. Its not about the 'golden age' of champions, they released a lot of different and unique ones before that, such as Kassadin, Jax, Fiddlesticks and Orianna. No one cares about the winrates, the reason why people say she is just a better Sona is because she is overloaded while still having all the of the traits you mentioned AND ALSO being a singer. You also didnt mention that people are angry at the KDA story being better than her normal one, is because its so much more extensive and has significantly extra effort put into. The skin universes should be secondary and always less of a focus, especially for a character just coming out. There was major backlash because they advertised her a lot and she is everything a large part of the playerbase hates

However, of course, if we're gonna keep the discussion going, I think I'm going to have to disagree with you on some of your points as well. I feel like the "every champion since X has been conventionally attractive" argument is often used in a way that just feels...inaccurate to me. Like, let's look at your range, for example: From Renata to Neeko. Like, right of the bat...is Renata really 'conventionally' attractive? Renata is attractive to a lot of people, sure, but I feel like that preference deviates from convention a little. I think it's great that that appeal is also represented in the game and I think it makes Renata really unique, but I wouldn't call her "conventionally attrative", per se. And going backwards from there - Would you call champions like Vex and Yuumi "conventionally attrative"? I mean, I hope not. This argument seems pretty imprecise to me, but I know what you probably mean - the "designed to appeal" problem that others have mentioned. I get that champions have felt a little monotonous for many people for that reason, but I think my argument from the video still adresses my issue with this: If it's EVERY champion that comes out like this, why is it only Seraphine that receives such a massive amount of backlash? At least for her, it works with her story and character, unlike for other champions such as Kai'sa or Samira. I'm not sure if I really agree that Seraphine is overloaded. I think her W probably is, but the rest of her kit is pretty straightforward, in my opinion. And personally, I think one ability that leans towards being more complex is not just fine, but actually welcome. The problem with overloaded abilities is, more often than not, that they make the champion too good in too many situations and therefore incredibly hard to deal with - which usually reflects in their winrate. So I don't think I can agree with the "no one cares about winrates" argument either. However, I have to agree that I may have separated theme and gameplay to harshly - Even if they play pretty differently, each little similarity there only adds onto the problem that their themes are so similar. I personally still really don't think it's that damning, but I see your point. I also disagree with your point that skin universe stories should always be secondary. Lulu probably has more lore in the Star Guardian universe than in the canon universe, so does Talon in the High Noon universe...and I think that's okay. Their canon stories are going to come around eventually (I hope). Until then, these alternative stories are a nice bonus - and if they are good on their own, then that's good, period. We don't need to tear something that is good apart just because something else isn't. Sorry if this seemed a little too negative - I truly do appreciate the comment. You made some good points and, most importantly, you did so in a constructive, non-offensive manner (which is a lot more than can be said about many of the other comments about Seraphine). I really really REALLY don't like everything about her except for her design. And even that I enjoy because it falls under things I specifically like in a character, not because it fits the world she was made for. I play her but I wish I could mute her voice because she sounds fake as hell.
I think that all about Seraphine would be ok IF there was a twist to it, imagine if instead of riot portraying her as a good person she was secretly a psychopath she already seems to be, think about it, all she wants is fame, money and followers, and she pretends to be sweet, kind and bubbly but actually takes advantage of Bracken souls to reach her goal, no one can stop her and she is willing to do anything to reach it, ANYTHING
Honestly I agree with most of what you said and think that Sona 2... I mean Seraphine and the people who play don't deserve hate, especially the people who designed and just like you said uniquely brought the character to life. But as a dedicated og Sona main I do have to say that at her release it was rough to play my main.

to add to her questionable twitter, her release was also very queerbaity... and about her design, when she was revealed, i thought her white stocking was a prosthetic, and considering that with her hearing condition, gosh i would have loved to see more visual indicators to that like in her original concepts, along with something more interesting like the leg, still i really enjoy playing seraphine and i like her as a character design, she isnt the best, but certainly isnt the worst

I also completely agree that some visual indicators of disability would've been super interesting with her condition, especially since I don't think we have any overt disability representation in League yet (at least I can't think of one off the top of my head). With all due respect, I disagree with quite a few of the statements in the video. 1) if you look at any of the reworked champions before and after like ww , fiddle or urgot you will find more differences in game play than Seraphine and Sona. 2) the fact that Seraphine can also mid, means she has a stronger and more versatile kit. 3) Sona's spells are more spammable, but cost more mana and do less work. 4) she supposedly is a singer, yet almost all of her moves are music based so there goes the thematic difference between her and Sona. 5) the lore she had was awful and rushly fixed. 6) her clothes do not match the aesthetics of either Zaun or Piltover yet in her lore states that she wants to fit in. 7)Her social media was borderline criminal action. It was a human posting things supposedly as a girl called Seraphine with the only purpose to have people who are demographically underaged buy league content. It is no different than having Mickey Mouse say "Hey kid, I am real and so is Goofy. All you need to see us is buy tickets for Disneyland. " 8) I played Seraphine quite a lot from her release since now and yet I never heard any of these comments you refer to. Worst thing I heard was the classic "OP champion can't wait to get nerfed".
I actually agree with most of the points of the video. 1) Yeah okay, many reworked champions have very different kits, but Fiddle and WW I'd say are still very close to the originals. More importantly though, these champions often keep their primary gameplay hook/function. Fiddle is still picked for his ult. WW is still picked as a drain tanking fighter. Urgot... is a weird case, I will admit. But sometimes there's just nothing to keep from the old kit I guess? Moving on to Sona/Seraphine tho, they have two different functions in game. Sona is a full-on enchanter who constantly buffs her own teammates with her auras. Seraphine is a half-enchanter whose primary purpose is damage and cc. Yes, Seraphine's W is a strong ability, but the heal is a soft reset to a fight, while Sona is more about buffing and protecting allies consistently. My main issue with "Sera is a Sona rework" is that Sera doesn't have auras. Sona's popular and not particularly problematic, so there's no reason a rework should remove those. 2) Sera is designed for mid, being good there doesn't mean she's stronger. Tho, yes, she is more versatile, that is bound to happen since Sera is supposed to be a mage enchanter hybrid. Hybrid classes will be more versatile by nature, but that doesn't mean they're better. Admittedly, they want to make Sera better at supp because of her popularity, so versatility is still a strong trait. But Sona is still better at buffs/peel and overall, at being an enchanter. 3) Sera's Q and E cost more than Sona's actually. But yes, spammable spells have to be less impactful, or else it would be broken. The difference here is that Sona is designed to constantly spam her buffs, while Sera is meant to spam her damage, while holding on to W for a big heal when everyone is low. Their gameplay differs a lot, even if, at a surface level, they appear similar. 4) Okay this one's a bit of a tough one to argue, but hear me out for a sec. Technically yes, her abilities are all music, but she still sings when she casts them. Aside from Cho'Gath scream, it's pretty limiting to design specifically vocally based abilities without making them appear generic like magic sound. 5) Her lore was... not good. But they've updated it at least. The changes were minor, but that's bound to happen when translations are a concern. I feel like as a backstory (with the updates), Sera's lore is fine. It just needs to progress further, I guess? Like, ya it was pretty bad, but I think now, the problem is mostly that it doesn't mention the Brackern enough. It doesn't show where her lore will go with regards to the Brackern (even though it's pretty clear where Riot intended to take it). That's why it's disappointing. But that can be fixed by giving her more lore. 6) I feel like the clothes not matching are supposed to show that she doesn't fit in. She wants to, but she doesn't, and the outfit represents that. Don't get me wrong, I don't like her outfit either, but her clothes don't match P/Z because she doesn't. It's not that she would try to wear clothes that match P/Z to fit in, it's that she doesn't fit at all, and her clothes show that she doesn't fit. 7) I mean, I don't think I can argue anything here. I disagree. I don't see how people find it so bad, but at the end of the day, I'm not going to try to force you to change your mind about morals or anything. 8) And I can't really argue anything here. If you didn't face toxicity because of playing Sera that's great. I can say that I've received a lot of flack for playing Sera tho lol. People very frequently blame me for trolling or for picking a "worse Sona" or would just start trolling me or flaming me. This is all anecdotal tho, so ya idk what else to say.
I’d agree with you if they actually DID fix the lore, which is my biggest issue with her. It’s a shame because, in concept, she does have the potential to be a great champion, but I think she’d be more interesting if she wasn’t as timid and cutesy, but more rebellious and into protest and social change instead. I think an empathetic person would care more and want to change such horrible living conditions, and wouldn’t be using other peoples souls for her own benefit. Soraka SUFFERES when she heals, but does it anyway to help others. Seraphina doesn’t even come close to her level of empathy and does almost nothing to make change. Music IS healing and important to a lot of people but Sona in my opinion already does that but better and I’m a more interesting way. They can still keep Seraphina as cute, but I’d like it if she had more of a duality, like P and Z. Cutesy in Zaun, but hides her hatred for the injustice just so she can put on a show and raise funds to help the cause in Piltover. And down there she’s her more true self and more of a rock star, not held back by her image in her more glitzy and sheltered life. She should be grateful she wasn’t born there but empathetic to their plight and want to at least raise money for change, even if she has to do so in secret and live something similar to a double life.
Hear me out: Seraphine should be sexier. Out of all the female champions it makes no sense to sexualize - Sivir, Kai’sa, Katarina, Nidalee, Syndra, Ashe, Caitlyn, ZYRA - they have someone whose job entails wearing sexy outfits at hand… and they don’t use it. It’d make her look less like an ingenue and more in control, since sexuality is associated with adulthood, help her stand apart from Sona - a more solemn, less showy type of singer who wouldn’t want to show off her body, the Celine Dion to Seraphine’s Madonna, the Jennifer Hudson to her Beyoncé - and insert a story about “a girl reclaiming her sexuality as empowerment” in a context, showbiz, where it makes sense. Honestly as she is now I don’t even see her succeeding as a popstar, not even in the bubbliest of bubblegum. She has massive Kids Bop energy.
I was Seraphine hater for the time before relase. I was angry not just on her similarity to Sona, but for... the KDA. I thought she's going to be 5th member of KDA, which annoyed me a lot. No one is going that easily into very famous (kpop) band, sorry. That gave her Mary Sue vibes. But she came to PBE and I had to try her. And... She was different from Sona. One problem solved. Her appearance in KDA was only as a collab... Another problem solved. And her cover songs are pretty nice (not to mention I love singing too and it happened we have the same voice tune, so its really easy and nice to sing her songs
T B Skyen did a far better analysis on this topic without all the Riot backside wet kissing and making excuses and to be fair his critique doesn't mean he went out of his way to being an arsehole to Riot either.
I've been playing Seraphine since the champion stepped into the pbe and I really love her so much, no other champion release has surpassed my excitement like this damn dreamy singer but I must admit, she has her flaws She doesn't look like Sona, even though I play with her too so I know what I'm doing, but your visuals and lore are so weak... I love your colored hair, but... I really think he should have just stayed in the K/DA skin and in his original skin it could be blonde, brown or whatever natural, even white would be better AND I HATE THAT STUDIO STAGE SO MUCH, I don't think it's good for the champion's beauty, it just makes her awkward and awkward I remember that when she was leaked, everything indicated that she would be a mage with water magic, I don't know why they didn't go that way, after all this was very well reflected in the ocean song skin, have you seen that skin?, it's perfect Anyway, this is the opinion of a main Seraphine, great video and keep it up S2
nah don't come for seraphine's twitter account and call it a fail because that is clearly a successful on going move from riot. Also the hate towards seraphine is definately not that bad like what the hell.... like where have you people beein to see all these hate and take it seriously like. me whenever someone tries to hate on me for liking her I usually reply with a pic of sera eating a tasting skarner XD because who doesnt like sea food.
I'm a casual lore guy. I don't like Seraphine because of how obnoxious she is in game. Her voice lines are just insufferable. Before they took the Skarner line out, that was pretty fricking shocking. Not a bad villain line... but Seraphine just struck me as a shallow influencer type who's looking to sell her soul and burn out in LA somewhere... And I don't want that in my dumb MOBA.
I think she is both everything wrong with Modern League of Legends and League of Legends overall too (kinda redundant, since when you're the least you're also the first). And I think you really made too less of a deal with a very important thing that made my hate for her (which I recognize a lot is just personal taste, so if those were the only problem I wouldn't mind as much ppl saying those things were fine) just mutiplied 10 fold. The parasocial relation thing, the whole propaganda arround her, abusing of mental illness and emotional fragility of the players to sell a fucking skin, thats super low and I'm for one thing riot should actually, in court, be punished for that. But even trying to ignore this big pile of shit was made... I still hate her. She hits all the wrong points for me. I actually like a lot her kit, it is fun to play tho I recognized it can easily become very toxic and unhealthy to play agaist, and yeah that is literally Sona's kit re-imagined piece by piece. But her, I don't like her looks, I don't like her voice, her personality. I hate that we have so many cool stuff to work on Pilt & Zaun, but instead of them going foward, we got this shit that don't fit at all and does literally nothing. Like, looking at how this shit was the last we got from P&Z, and on how the producers were talking, teasing Arcane, I was really scared they were going to fuck up, to make the "No, it's just some bad apples, if we take them out, both sides can live harmonically", when its not. We have a side of the exploiter, opressors, agressors, slavers, agaist the poor, exploited and violated ppl, they're not the same, no shit of "but both sides have their rights and wrongs and are equivalent". Thankfully, Arcane actually got it right and we got that masterpiece, but Seraphine's deal is literally the embodiment of it. The trying to make the Violators and Violateds shake hands and appologize to each another and all good? oh please go fuck yourself. She's literally the medium class white girl going to a getto to say to poor and marginalized ppl that they somehow as much to blame for being exploited as it is to blame their exploiters, so if we all shake hands it will all be good... I'm pretty sure I repeated myself I can't stand this fvcking
