Is there a video about simply mount an intro on a track without beat at the beginning, filtering instruments from the drop of the same and adding drums at the start? Cause I don't know how to keep the solo on drums, it comes back to full song once you activate all stems... Thanks
Dope. Is there a way to quickly just export sampled cuts of drums? Like if I highlight a snare out of a song I just wanna quickly render that highlited portion of the snare into a wav sample. The only way I figured out how to do it so far after barely using the program is to record a hit of the snare and export that, wish there was a easier faster way.
Hi Bobby, thanks for the question! Yes, you will need Serato Studio to use and export stems. If you have any more questions, give me a shout! Drake Sobehrad, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800)-222-4700 ext. 3271, drake_sobehrad@sweetwater.com
Hi, Ganga! Thanks for your interest. In Serato Studio, assuming all the samples and instruments in your project are set to sync to the project’s key, changing the key of the project will also change all samples and instruments to match. So, the short answer is yes! I hope this helps - feel free to contact me directly with further questions, and thanks again! This is great only thing is your at the mercy of the mix to get the results you want so it's a game of luck still better than most sampling I've seen great job
Is there a way to say, record just the vocals using stems then, dropping the whole tune in then going back to just vocals. I’ve tried a couple different ways but the export is just the original song even though the master waveform shows… vocals only, SONG, vocals only.
I did this only in the song view with cue points then pausing, bring back the song and recording from the pause. It seems like it’s ignoring the stems and rendering the original track.
Good question! From what I can see, you should be able to record a mix while using Stems, but I think it would have to be performed live to do that. It also requires the tracks to be stored locally, not streamed. If you have further questions, give me a ring! Serato Studio were that Scenes can only be set to 1-8 bars. If you were able to make them 1-16 bars I think it would allow us to get more variety to your tracks. Really guys? >>>> 8 bars max. ???? 2023 !!! Hello ?
Is there any freakin way to just eject (remove) a track that's loaded?? (the eject/remove track button must be in some top secret place... ARRGH) And, is there any freakin way to "tell" SS NOT TOUCH the bpm, or key (or anything for that matter...) unless I DO IT MYSELF?? When I drag/drop a track into SS, the app messes with the track (changes the BPM and even the key - without asking me!), and then I have to figure out what the key and tempo were originally so I can re-set them manually.... Crazy! I just want to drag-drop a track in SS and be able to play it, and separate its stems, as with the original tempo and key; without SS making its changes on its own!! The settings are very limited (close to non-existent...) so I can't find how this - pretty basic thing... - can be done!!
Hi Everyday_J, great question! Serato DJ Pro does let you record your mixes if you are using tracks on your machine. It will not let you record from a streamed source. You of course could use the audio outs and record that into a separate interface or recorder. Please be aware though, using another person’s copyrighted work in a commercial or public manner will require authorization from the original creator. If you have any other questions, let me know! @@ThePhilocypher gangsta glad I could help g enjoy I been using AI to seperate stems and accapellaz for a while but stems is way quicker some of the AI is bettre for clearer accapellaz but works almost just as good and alot quicker too
Hi roi_dbg, good question! There is no ‘export stems’ options that I am aware of, at least according to their current manual. You can record your mixes while using Stems, so you could record a track at a time. If you need quick access to your stemmed songs, you can pre-process by loading the songs into your Stems Crate, which will allow them to pull up much quicker! Give me a ring if you have further questions! Drake Sobehrad, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 3271, drake_sobehrad@sweetwater.com
OMG this is driving me crazy!! Can someone PLEASE tell me how in the name of F*&% can you stay on the first screen layout (when you first open the app) with just ONE long window on top for the track waveform, and another one on the bottom?? I keep getting to that irritating layout with the drums things on the top left corner and I cant get rid of them nor go back to the initial layout!! I KEEP HAVING TO CLOSE THE APP AND RESTART IT JUST TO GET TO THAT FIRST LAYOUT AGAIN (and hope to God I dont click somewhere by mistake and leave that layout again...). **OMG what an annoying piece of software, how user unfriendly!! How difficult everything is in it. Why can they just make it like Logic or Cubase? You know, simple stuff... ARRRGHH
Also, allowing the option to add a custom amount of scenes/bars in the sequencer (e.g. a 3 bar sequence or a 16 bar or even better a 32 bar sequence would be a dream). Because, at the moment users are limited to: (1 Bar, 1-2 Bars, 1-2, 3-4 Bars, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 Bars) - This is a bummer as there are people like me who want to make a specific amount of bars for each new beat they create, it also limits what people can do and puts an unwanted obstacle in front of producers who just want to do a simple thing like that.
The wonderful thing about plugins is that we can use them in the DAW of our choice. These features are sick, but as long as they can't be used from any DAW, fairly useless.
Dude, I just wanna take accapellas and export them. HOW?? Every tutorial I see is ya'll making beats and shit. Where is a simple and plain stem export tutorial from beginning to end ??
