@@thb1091 We were talking about a HALF year. Apparently you didn't see Steffi in the late 80s: The great Steffi lost ZERO matches in the 1st half of 1987. Same in the 2nd half of 1989 - and she even prolonged that until April 1990. ZERO matches lost.

Serenawilliams 100% healthy. It is impossible to beat her. Serenawilliams is the most complete player ever saw. Offense and defense game Something special 2012 WTA FINALS so impressive she came back from major set back from foot injuries. She beat Angelique Kerber 6 times lost 2 LI NA 11 times lost 1 VICTORIA AZARENKA 18 times lost 5 Agnieszka Rawdwanska 10 times lost 0 Maria sharapova 20 times lost 2 They are great players But serenawilliams is something special.

This was the first tournament she played after winning the us open, and despite being quite rusty she didn't lose a set. Her level was very high especially in the latter stages. She was fit and was moving almost as well as she did before the knee surgery. Its a pity she refused to play this tournament after 2014. She could have easily added to her tally of 5. Injuries also made her withdraw from 2007 and 2008 editions. She missed other years entirely because of severe injuries (2003 and 2010). Injuries didn't help at all. I miss her a lot. Fortunately I enjoy watching some of the new players, therefore my interest in tennis hasn't diminished.

Gotta marvel at the greatness. The Queen beat at least 4 future hall of famers and multiple time grand slam champions (the exception being Radwanska) in succession, in straight sets. Dominance, greatness, the GOAT 👌🏾🙌🏾

@@stephaniefagan1736 I get that Azarenka and Maria had excellent years but they had fewer slams, no YEC title, no Olympic medal, and just went a little further at AO and FO than Rena that year. Still makes the system look clownish

Все равно Мария была сильнее Сирены! Такое ощущение что ей не нравилось с ней играть как с человеком .Потому что Сирена ее просто терпеть не могла .Мария девушка классная и поэтому не могла побороть психологию! К сожалению Мария могла выйграть ещё много шлемов если бы не эта проблема! ❤❤❤

Hear me out. There's 5 full proof reasons Serena Williams was so awesome. Above pure strength. 1. Serve. Enough said. 2. Hates losing aka determination 3. Technique. Her technique is simple and adaptable. 4. Scare tactics. It's Serena Williams 😂 5. The ability to change ball direction. This is the main reason. Just watching this. And bonus reason. 6. She absolutely loves beating maria Sharapova 😂😂😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
