I love how she s been repeatedly honest of the struggle to let go of the sport. I was only an amateur dancer and cried for 3 years when I stopped at 19yo, I cannot believe what’s like when you’ve been a champ!
Its the same with anything you do, i was in the military for 4 years and i still feel guilty for leaving even though im doing great. It just becomes a part of you

Fire the makeup “artist”. That makeup is too light and obviously overdone. Serena is too beautiful and regal looking to have her looks diminished by bad makeup.
Love Serena, her personality is infectious and she’s crazy talented. I do think she had a lot of work done to her face and not all of it works for her. I look at older pictures of her from the early-mid 2000s and she was stunning 🥲
@@Nubianette I agree with this too, the beat is doing a little too much and maybe in the wrong shade? Idk, she has a Black makeup artist and I expect better for my good sis. But also the contours of her face changed to look kind of overfilled and I’m not sure that’s due to aging. Serena always had really beautiful angles to her face that I don’t see anymore.
@@laceylives I think she’s using very expensive, European makeup. It’s not for us. I’ve tried it. They’re missing neutral with a pinch of warmth. She’s bathing in the glamour of more is more, and ultra glam. She can more than afford it. I’m sure it feels wonderful to have that feminine attention as an ultra athlete. She’s also in her early 40’s, had 2 babies, and would want the pampering. She deserves all of that! But, she needs a big sis (me! I’m 57) to just make a suggestion or 2. Then, I’d shut my mouth. She is Serena after all. Hehe!

Exactly! You can't perfect perfection. Serena is a work of art and doesn't need much. I wish that the people who apply her makeup were required to appreciate her beauty before they apply makeup. Got my girl looking ashy. I hate that!
so many people claimed Beyoncé lightened her skin when they saw the photos of her in that silver dress. She’s light skinned! The fact that y’all can’t even admit Serena who is clearly like 5 shades lighter all over her body didn’t, this is why i or most people don’t f with y’all. She's gorgeous 🥰! Her hair was perfect. But why cover her in so much highlighter and then the extra dark mascara? I know they just met but couldn't the artist see she was putting on too much. Serenea has amazing features and doesn't need triple heavy makeup.
Not a very good makeup artist All that mascara around her eyes instead of opening up her eyes made her eyes look very small and she had way too much highlighter on and concealer and she looked kind of grey. She should travel with her own makeup artist
Getting old/er in the world we live in is not for the faint-hearted what more if u are a world renowned superstar constantly under public scrutiny, it must truly be hard. Praying for her, me and everyone going through such😊
I think she likes her make up this way. Just an observation. Lately a lot of her pictures look just like this look, no matter the make up artist… but I could be wrong 🤷🏾♀️
This is not the correct color she uses too light, color of a neck is the nearest skincolor. This is an make up advicer. But Serena knows exactly which message she wants to send us.
Serena is drop dead gorgeous with a phenomenal athletic body. She needs a glam squad who understands are facial structure and features, and who knows how to accentuate and enhance our Queen's physical silhouette. Her team lets her down again and again. Yep agreed, its clear her stylists are only used to working with white women they need to understand less is more with Serena because of her features, they always make her look like a drag queen
I agree too light, but well done! She looks beautiful, and her lovely bold features are enhanced subtly with a full "beat" for the balance of her overall glam, designer look for the night.

Serena is getting so much hate about her look. In my opinion she need to change her makeup artist, the makeup does not compliment her complexion. The makeup is too pale .
