3. SOUNDBITE (English) Serena Williams, former tennis pro - on the intimate docuseries despite a public perception of being very guarded:
"In my position and growing up as a teenager and 14, I kind of had to be guarded to just kind of stay sane, and just being in so much press and doing everything that I was doing and traveling the globe every year. And it wasn't like you were on tour and you took a break and you had a couple of years off. It was every week. And so it was a grind, and it's really cool to see a different side of -- or not a different side, a true
side of what happens behind the scenes. So I've seen these episodes -- there's eight episodes in there, in the show, in the docuseries, but I'm just as excited to see them tonight all over again. I've seen it I don't know how many times."

(Reporter: "You rose above that (bullying)")
Williams: Oh I was bullied. But that's in the book. That's not you know, we go into that a little bit in 'In the Arena.' But yeah, that's, I was and things that I had to go through now people would be canceled for, for saying back then. It's crazy."
(Reporter: "So when you see Caitlin Clark, what advice would you have maybe for her?")
Williams: "I just love that she's tries to stay grounded and she says she doesn't what does she say - she doesn't have a social. She doesn't look at her social. And I get it, I don't either. And I think it's so important to just to continue to do what she's doing. And no matter what other people do, then, if people are negative, it's because they can't do what you do, basically. And hopefully she'll continue to to do what she's doing. So."

"Serena Williams. She's the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) of GOATS. And, you know, I've had the great privilege of working with Tom Brady and Kobe Bryant and Stephan Curry and Simone Biles and Serena's special, like she's head of the class. Maybe with Simone -- she's right there too. But like, you know, you're talking about an African-American woman in a predominantly white sport who had to navigate so much, you know, not just on the court, but in the locker room, in society and across such a incredible span of time. You know, a lot of great athletes come and go even in her in that period. I mean, there's other great athletes, but that sort of consistency across time and that ability to sort of keep picking herself up, you know, because there's so many times across the story when it was like, OK, it was a good run, but it's over. And she just kept going and coming back. And I think she's done -- I think. Although she sometimes won't use the word retirement. But in that way, it's a pretty special story."
