The only person who claps during those incredible points is Kerber. She knows an amazing shot when she sees one. Very classy of her. Also, loving all the different outfits and hairstyles. Iconic tbh.

@@merlinho0t Perhaps for what she represents, but her skill itself is not on the level of Nadal, Federer, Djoković, Thiem, etc. I love Serena; she's one of my favorite players of all time, but she can't compete on the level of these guys. Just look at her UTR and compare it to theirs.

We need more players like Serena Williams! We need more strong ppl of color in this sport, they bring a lot of heat, they bring something different then the everyday "norm", and ppl like her bring a challenge that's worth competing with and for! I love it and am here for it!!! You go Serena, I hope you never retire...and if you do, I'll still support you and respect not only you but also for what you stood for as a person in a world that only sees color but not people as people.

Serena Williams is my IDOL. it’s considered super weird for a black girl to play tennis but I have her to look up too. She was the first professional athlete I ever fully watched and I almost got the chance to meet her in real life. She is an amazing woman and I really want to meet and play with her someday. She has impacted me and many others to never give up, as cheesy as it may sound
As I look at some of her accomplishments it reminds me of determination. Serena & Venus help make female tennis alive again, not only because of their race , style and grace and beauty, but because of their focus , among so much adversity. They don’t talk about it much and I respect them even more for that. Serena & Venus are the catalyst of change that tennis needed and the world. To be around them you were never left feeling the same. Thank you Creator for allowing us the privilege of having them in our world now, i for one am truly appreciative & grateful to have experience them and their energy. Magnificent 🍀🙋🏾♀️🌹🌹🍀
For SO many players, the only thing that stood between them and the top was Serena. Absolute GOAT. Kerber is one that stands out to me, such a competitor and she has some power of her own. But wow, Serena just has one more shot than her for almost her entire career.
Kerber is a player with a 63 % career match winning percentage. Which puts her around #70 of all players in the open era. Make no mistake, I like Angie, she is a nice German girl. But that she was one of the main Serena competitors in the 2010s says all.
I doubt Serena could have beaten Margaret in the Australian open in the 60s , it was played in December and in Brisbane and Sydney a few times where temperatures 100 degrees plus ! And no heat rules , no tie breakers, no injury time outs!No night matches! That's why Margaret is the greatest!
