Very interesting in that she ended up playing cat and mouse with Amelia, not her usual game and still won. To change tactic mid way through the game, fighting herself from within is very hard. I remenber this time Serena, Was newly signed to Nike, she came back from a long period being out of the court. She Was clearly not at her Best and her sensations Was Kind lost. You can clearly see when Serena is not at her Best her forehand is weak and she make a lot of mistakes or unconfident shots on this side. But still she managed to go to the final, by playing not so great.
From 2000-2010, Venus ('00, 01, 05, 07, 08) and Serena ('02, 03, 09, 10) won nine Wimbledon Championships. Sharapova (2004) & Mauresmo (2006) were the only two other women who managed to win during that time. 20:17 Mauresmo was salty & didn't want Serena to touch her. Amelie tried to shrug it off and Serena tapped her again, lol.

Serena and Amelie played two classics in 2004 - their match at the YEC was even better than this one to me. This was a wonderful contrast of styles, and one of the few matches where Serena played the net with conviction. When she's fully committed to coming in she can volley pretty well. It's when she just kind of hits the ball then wanders in (probably 80% of the time) is where she gets in trouble.

Its kinda weird but even though Serena is a pretty good volleyer, it almost seems that she has to be stressed in a match to volley regularly or take the net away from a serve volleyer.

it's a competitive sport and a competitive moment. i never got the slack people gave serena for getting excited and showing passion in tense moments. to me it is race related
they are loved by their family and their loves one...They dont give a shit about being the "most loved" because they were raised knowing it will never happend if they are succesfull
