I actually love when they play each other, because it usually brings out a skill in Serena that not many know exists. Venus has the ability to reduce Serena into a counterpuncher, but Serena counterpunches well. Serena lost here, but my favorite match of theirs at the 2008 USO, Venus was in charge and made Serena retrieve like nobody's business. Serena was game though and pulled that match out in straights when she should've lost in straights.

When Venus is hitting that forehand either inside-out or up the line - WATCH OUT.

This match would be an example of debunking the purposeful negative myth that Venus and Serena never play good or competitive matches against each other,simply put-Lies they have played plenty of very good matches,especially at Wimbledon.

I remember watching this match last summer. It was incredible. It brought me back to some of my first tennis-watching memories of watching Serena and Venus play back-to-back Wimbledon finals.

Venus and Serena have incredible power and speed BUT both have different styles which is fabulous to watch. They are incredible.

No disrespect to Serena, but I've always thought Venus is a much better player than her. Venus is the hardest hitting player I've seen and she covers the court so well. I just don't know why Venus didn't rule women's tennis for a long time.

Again in this match, Venus dominates Serena when her forehand is on. Serena hit all the shots to her forehand waiting for an error and venus instead hitting winners. Just look at Wimbledon 2008 final.

Serena has a much more prolific body, but there is just that something that I find very attractive in Venus.... There are alot of technical reasons Venus won this match here, Serena with 9 double faults and 32 UE's. Venus had those consistent strong returns and won most of the rallies. nteresting style matchup to watch I have always thought. Both are actually pretty even at serving and it comes down to who can nullify the other's games. When Venus is physically feeling good and her defense gets airtight, then its tough for the GOAT. otherwise its smooth sailing for serena
