I feel like I'm addicted to Sovietwave. I started on vaporwave and some other stuff, but I didnt't like it like I wanted to. I'm glad youtube recommended Sovietwave to me.
This is great. Brings back vibes of pre-Perestroika Soviet science fiction (think "Andromeda Nebula" or "Heart of the Serpent"), where the future was bright and promising, and tomorrow was all about reaching the stars, not nuking ourselves back to the stone age.
yeah and the future was also about killing tens of millions of people today for that super fun future, or putting them in slaver's camps for ten or twenty five years.
i've Read that and its sequel "La hora del Toro" (for its title in spanish) from Efremov. Such and interesing book an view from the future. I heard Ivan got inspired to write the first one in a field trip to the Gobi Desert and found himself in the vastness of nothingness. i'm sure you may know, but those "vibes" come from before the pre-Perestroinka era, and come from beyond soviet communism/socialism.. there was that current of thought called Cosmism that inspired Koroliov's mentour Tsiolkovsky and also the latter's mentour Fedorov, which the revolution as well took a lot from.. and made possible those advances that took a underdevoloped rural and feudal country into the space age in less than fifty years

Спасибо большое автору канала и создателям музыки за их труд. Когда в первый раз послушал, не понимал истинное практическое применение жанра "sovietwave". Музыка этого жанра, буд-то веет амбициями людей, живших в СССР, на их видение будущего космоса, и иногда природой. Я думаю, особенно отчётливо это ощущается людям, которые выросли до 2010 года. Так же, музыка довольно спокойная, не "заставляет" себя слушать, поэтому я частенько включаю её во время работы. Она не только не мешает, но и отлично помогает. Ещё раз спасибо.

First RU-vid decides I would like Synthwave. Then slowly transitions me to Sovietwave. Then to Communism. lol for real though, I prefer this because it is just the right amount of chill compared to the more intense Synthwave.
Our 80's is what the soviets are experiencing right now but with better tech it reflects in their music, hopefully the soviets can show the world that they can also be a force of good & not portrayed by the western ideology as evil communist.

Жилплощади, работу дали, ну все лозунги в стиле золотой рыбки, чтоб их власть приняли. Конечно, по стадиям - начало, срединный процесс, финал увядание, то красное "начало" с ценой очень кровопролитно и мозго-компостирующе. Даже нынешняя 30летка номенклатурного рынка, как начало гораздо мирнее и без зачисток полит.конкурентов.

It's nice, but if possible could you do a collection of sci-fi Soviet synth? I remember from my young days the Soviet synth used in sci-fi films, and it often had a bit more of a "pop" persay. I'd love to hear those tracks again, along with new ones!

@@CaveatSpectator The Soviets had a powerful culture, but because of the Cold War very little of it got out to the surrounding world. Fortunately, with the rise of the Internet, you can find just about anything. Nigerian cinema, Chinese cooking shows, and Soviet techno music. Though to be frank I think a lot of this is new stuff just done in the style of the older music. But you can still taste that feeling.

@@mv8qh That's impying that warfare is bad, which is so only for people whose morality is based on minimizing suffering and increasing comfort/pleasure. Truth is warfare is a way to physically dominate( and/or remove) your opponents, and it will remain a valid tool of power projection as long as we are physical beings existing in this physical world. We will always have opponents, because we need resources for our advance and there will always be someone else who wants the same things as you, but who might not be able to get them, because they're not infinite, which creates competition. Just because we're not using tanks doesn't mean there is not warfare/competition, there are many ways to achieve supremacy and ensure that your interests are met but, ultimately, if all else fails, tanks are the last ditch effort. And if you have a society whose highest goal is comfort and being content, you can rest assured that this society will eventually get into stagnation and even collapse, which would open the way for more "barbaric" peoples to take their place and destroy them. This is the law not only of humanity, but of nature and all living beings, and no amount of education or whatever will stop an endangered group of people from using physical means to have their needs met. True wisdom means knowing that warfare is part of our nature and learning to use that tool properly, instead of completely condemning it like someone who has barely passed "morality classes" in their kindergarten would.

Скачаю этот трек лист и поставлю в свою 99-ю И буду наслаждаться))) Не знаю почему, но у меня прям ассоциации когда сажусь в это авто (высокая панель ) и все эти огоньки, приборка, сам стиль родом из 80-х. Итакуюмузыкуслушать очень атмосферно. )) Что то похожее ощущается в хонде цивик начала 90-х. Но в нашей как по душевнее)))

@@aduantas yeah and it's ridiculous, but I mean that in like a good way on the one hand, the soyuz was made with manual docking in mind, it's the easiest docking ever on the other hand, it's non-reversable, you need to fir the male end with the female end, and you also once docked it wastes a lot of internal space Don't get me wrong, the Soyuz is my favourite rocket of all time (well, favorite succesfull rocket, my actual favorite is the Energia-Buran)
