He always had that kind of caracter. creating a reggae version of the national anthem and writing "je t'aime moi non plus". He inspired generations of french singers not like the modern singers or artist today.

I disagree. It's obvious she does not enjoy him touching her face and generally being near very drunk man. The most appropriate reaction would be a clear demonstration of not being happy about what goes on and a demand to exchange the places with Drucker for example. Of course, it's not easy to do in the real time during the night show, but if we are discussing what is the best way to deal with it - I don't think Whitney would call it the best way afterwards

More like the producers of the show. At this stage Serge spent most of his tine drunk and trashy tv shows like this would invite him in with hopes of him saying something shocking for ratings. They didn't tell him what to say but they knew a half drunk Serge next to an attractice girl would almost always say something 'memorable'. If you want to blame someone blame the producers who knew exactly what they were doing. They weren't stupid. Serge was under the influence but the producers of the show were not.
