@WontSeeReplies
@WontSeeReplies Год назад
@@KletusthetightlippedacademicImpressive, but Jon would never accept this challenge. Jon left the LHW division immediately after losing to Reyes and nearly being finished by Santos. Had Santos not blown out his knees, he would have KO’d JBJ. Furthermore, he failed his drug tests during BOTH fights against DC. That’s a tarnished record for the supposed “GOAT.” If that wasn’t illuminating enough, Jones waited years to join the HW division. Years. He said he’s ready to fight for the belt the week Ngannou was stripped… And now he’s planning his retirement before facing more than two HW fighters, neither of which are the most dangerous. Jon is a fantastic fighter. But like McGregor, he’s a better opportunist. New age fighters were catching up to him at LHW when he wasn’t cheating. And he is refusing to fight both of the most naturally dangerous men in HW history.
@Kletusthetightlippedacademic

Basically the same situation as Cyril Gane, he looks good against sloppy, fat HW strikers like Tai/Lewis but can get exposed by grapplers. He needs to bait Blaydes into standing and trading with him to win this one.

I agree, lots of people are writing him off after losing to Aspinal but I think Pavlovich is still one of the best HW rn. He would smoke any top 10 hw apart from maybe Gane or blaydes (if he decides he is a wrestler). He is not fighting volkov since they're mates. And seeing Gane struggle with Tuivasa I feel like Pavlovich still beats Gane. Idk if he beats Aspinal in a rematch tho, Aspinal is very similar to Pavlovich but just a little better everywhere.

people need to realize that Sergei has 84" reach..that's Jon Jones reach. Francis has 83" reach. Lennon Lewis has 84, Liston had 84, Tyson fury has 85. Very rare. Obviously he is a problem. He's a freak athlete. Guys like Jones and Francis haven't fought guys with that reach. Most guys they fight don't even break 80"...and this guy doesn't just jab, and has a chin etc etc
