Bravo Misha! I've always loved Earl Wild's transcriptions as well as his recordings of Rachmaninov (his set of the concerti recorded in the 60s is still a favorite). You're playing is stunning!
One of the most understated performances I have ever seen. Wonderful. I also think Rachmaninov had a line in majesterial playing which is hardly rivalled by any other composer and I include LIszt in that. If you like this, you will like the last of R's 'Moments Musicaux'. Am greatly looking forward to seeing Leif Ove Asnes playing Chopin this month. He is said to have developed a majesterial style since he was younger. The concert will be in Nohant, where Chopin spent time with G Sands. A real dream come true to go there.
