What a beautiful performance! He has a gorgeous tone, very romantic phrasing, and his left hand was as clear as a bell but perfectly legato. Bravo!

One of the very best performances I ever heard. All is simply perfect and can hardly be made better.

Steven, Rach gave no pedalling direction for 4 minutes of continuous semiquavers. What's your philosophy?

Good question:-) I think of the pedal more as a tool to give the piano sound a bit more 'space and air' and I not just for legato purposes.

Yuk. How plain and uninspired can you get? I really thought that this piece could never be NOT moving.

I watched your videos, you play decently well, but how can anyone in their right mind think it's worth commenting degrading comments to someone who's obviously gonna read it ? Very strange indeed. I'd actually love to see your interpretation just to see how you think it's supposed to sound

I agree! I thought a metronome was playing. Very monotone sound, no dramatic movement of peaks and valleys, just moved along in a sing song way, perfect but Cold and Lifeless!!!
