I love Zagny, definitely one of my favorite composers. The pieces just sound so weird and whimsical, I love the simplicity as well! It adds such a unique element

as someone who studied a lot of bach and chopin, i find this as equally enjoyable. his notation for repetitive structures is great too as it's probably easier to read than seeing everything written out. as someone else said on here, IX is somewhat reminiscent of chopin's etude in Ab major, but it's still its own beautiful thing. couldn't find further details within the score on imslp but i would wager the whole set is an homage to our boy philip...

Zagny sounds like an hybrid between Glass and Vivaldi...

Glass II, III, VII, VIII, IX, and X: Those are the shortest repeats I have ever seen (usually 1 measure each and occasionally even less), but they actually make sense for this minimalist style. Was this composition named in honor of Philip Glass?

Number 1 had good bits. But most of the music is so bad it's not worth the time and effort to practise it. And the notation is EXTREMELY rude to the performer.

I don’t agree, it all had a very careful approach to formal development I thought, even if the surface itself was rather simple. Each one unfolded in a pleasing way and then ended as soon as it made its point. Plus the composer was the performer so he notated it for himself

You didn't understand this music at all. Don't judge it with your traditional classical education, because this music is out of any tradition in it's inner development
