Dear Social Dance TV, as much as I appreciate your work: Why is it that you frequently ommit the female dancer's last name, even with very known female dancers? And why does the female name always come after the male name, and never before?
True. This is much mite suited to casino. But even in Hsvsna I see people dance Casino in an ALMOST linear structure due to space concerns. To me as long as your leading turns etc with the Casino technique it doesnt nattrr if its nirecstraight or not. But a smooth nyc style salsa doesn't fit this song at all.
Unfortunately, people have not been interested in the origin of music for a long time and it doesn't matter to them. For me, this is disrespect to a nation to which we owe salsa music. Every salsa dancer must be able to understand the difference between the styles and at least adhere to the style.
@@ilianbojanov2957 I agree. I am primarily a linear dancer but I love cuban. I hate when people diss cuban or look down on it but then take "agro cuban" and orisha workshops to add it to their shones in songs where they don't fit.
@@shaolin1derpalm I like the way you think, that's the way things should be. I also get very angry when I see orishas dancing in a line. They Cubans and in their music do not always dance orishas because it is not appropriate. I really like Cuban culture and dance, but I also like line dance. Although both styles are salsa, but they are very different in energy and movement and that's the good thing. Greetings from Bulgaria

I dont know y, but I feel like it's such wild dancing. The music is Cuban but the style... not so much. Cuban salsa is intimate.... but I guess if that's your style so be it. I don't take those huge steps. I'm looking here and wondering y soooooooo much... But again, if that's your style live it up.
Pros: They look good dancing together. The moves are well executed. Cons: The back leading by her on the copas is a dead give away this isn't social dancing. Its a rehearsal/performance at the club.

Men, a final reminder to please take off your blazers when you dance. It is not practical, comfortable or stylish to keep it on. Leave it on the back of a chair, in the cloak room, or fold it neatly in your bag.
You do not understand basics. Often, the jacket is put on for the show AND to protect the lady from touching his sweaty shirt. The jacket saturates slower than your shirts. Naturally, that is done by those who do not dance all night non-stop as many do.
Or just let people wear whatever they want? 😅 Enjoy the dance instead of trying to change people who does things differently. It would be a totally boring world if everyone were the same. 🤔
@@unminuto8026 Thanks for your opinion. I can understand the performers wear a suit jacket for the show and choose to keep it on after for the party. However I can't agree with your second argument about protecting the lady from his sweat because the jacket saturates slower. Jackets are not a piece of clothing that is designed to absorb sweat and be washed often. This is why I said they are not practical in a dance environment.
eso no es bailar es sacudirse ,hacer payasadas ,inventarse piruetas y todavia se ofenden cuando uno se los dice, ademas estar al lado de una pareja como esta, es exponerse a recibir un manotazo ,un codazo o una patada ,no respetan el espacio de nadie y menos cuando algun estupido con una camara los enfoca ,se vuelve una salvajada total!!!
When he will start dancing correctly and understand the music correctly. Respect the creators of this music as well as the Cuban people, do not do nonsense like what I see here. You can't put in the effort and time to learn a single salsa and not want to learn at least a little about timba, casino
