I always tell people that the Abarth 500 has amazing handling. This video proves it. Also, your driving skills are AMAZING. It's refreshing for me to see someone who actually knows how to drive a car properly. Great video.
One of the best drives I've seen in a small performance hatchback for a long time.... Just goes to show you really don't need a 100k super car to have fun..... Love the 500!!!!!
9 minutes and 12 seconds in a demonic street legal go-kart! 😁 I love how the Abarth eats curves for breakfast! As soon as you reached a windy path, you were catching up with every other car ahead of you real fast! The more powerful cars on the track seem to only be effective on the straights.
Respect! I can't believe your passenger never made a sound! Really impressive drive shows how capable you are as a driver, great to see the 595 do so well especially with a passenger!!!
+Josh Charlie thanks. Everybody thinks the abarth is a lame car, but it's actually pretty decent on track. Probably lack 20bhp (solved by the 2015 evolution with new turbo and 180), but front end is sharp, brakes are good.... But now I have a Mini and I must admit it's one big step above the Abarth. check my more recent videos ;)
CaptainBigleux2833 I have recently bought a 180, enjoying it a great deal. I am impressed with the car, considering what it is based on! What Mini have you got? I previously had a 2003 Works mini with loads of mods, pulley etc.
+Josh Charlie I own since over a year an R53 GP, with some mods (pulley, janspeed manifold, bit of brakes). Look my other videos, much better lap with the GP than the Abarth. But I would love to try again with a new 595 competizione now that they have the bigger turbo and 180 bhp
the Mini is more powerful but the Abarth is too light. Ok, Mini JCW is a very good car and our performance is very high, but this video show the great performance of the little 500! It's very funny, you try!
Chapeau. Sur votre vidéo on voit vraiment ce que j´ai toujours dit, c´est lorsque ça tourne que l´on voit ceux qui savent s´y faire...et ceux qui voudraient savoir! Quant à la Mini JCW il est évident que la puissance est plus importante sur cette voiture. S´amuser en bonne camaraderie c´est tout ce qui compte. Vraiment très belle vidéo!
I have been around the ring over a 300 times and I can count the number of drivers with your awareness and skill on little over two hands. Very nice, top marks.

+Brad Atkinson thanks Brad, the Abarth is not the best but lot of fun for sure, and quite decent in slow corners. But too short wheelbase and lacking power in fast. Now driving a mini, check my videos ;)
I made a test drive with the Abart Competizione 160 Hp and i must say i was very very surprised! Very cool and fast car with a great sound! Congrats on your driving skills...impressive ;-)

Not sure if the M driver is just being lazy and not pushing the car or if the Abarth is really keeping up. Lol. Love it. I've always had an obsession with the 500, especially the Abarth, ever since we saw it emerge over here in The States (I was so excited to find out that I actually fit comfortably in the little thing, even being over 6 feet tall). Wonderful to see one actually perform and stretch its legs.
The Abarth looks like it's keeping up and even faster in the tight bends than some of the bigger cars that clearly outclass it - such a short wheelbase it must take corners at ridiculous speeds. Funny to see the 500 chewing off the bumper of a BMW round the bends and chicanes, only to hit a straightaway to be left utterly behind. Nice little ride.

Tu gère bravo :) la BMW rouge du début tu l'as tient bien, bon après en ligne droite la puissance supplémentaire se fait ressentir mais dans les virages la 500 est énorme.
There are a lot of people who would recognise a Fiat 500 but would have never heard of Abarth.. I love to imagine the looks of the faces of some of the people you're passing :)
Qualcuno dice che il cinquino si ribalta facilmente...forse è anche vero...però qualche giorno fa vicino casa mia in piena rotonda c'era una macchina a ruote in su...e aveva questo stemma "VW"...
@@Davide-fm9qe Anche le ferrari si ribaltano,bisogna comunque capire la dinamica dell'incidente.Sicuramente le 500 in generale tendono a farlo più spesso.
