Thank you for this detailed story. My Father was one of the prison gaurds at Bridgewater State prison when this man(Boston Strangler) was there. He even played cards with him while waiting for appts in the waiting rooms and interrogation rooms. My Dad said the man was likeable but gave him an uneasy, creepy feeling. My Dad never said much about this person except he believed he did it. Now I know why he didnt give me any details or in fact tell me about this until I was much older since I was a young child in the 60s.
OMG yes! I couldn't find anything to listen to while falling asleep and then I find this 🎉🎉❤❤ I work really hard all day and look forward to this so much
How horrible this was for the women. They were so violated before being killed. Then their bodies were posed in the most embarrassing way possible for numerous police to see. And their photo to be taken for people to see them like that forever. He violated them before and after death. A true monster.
Hmmm....this is a tough one. There seems to be more than one MO and thus more than one killer. Not sure about Desalvo though. Wish he had been able to speak before his death! This video has me all flustered! Thanks Doc! I love it!!!
@@tero2535 “On July 11, 2013, Boston law enforcement officials announced that DNA evidence had linked DeSalvo to the rape and murder of 19-year-old Mary Sullivan. DeSalvo's remains were exhumed, and DNA test results proved DeSalvo was the source of seminal fluid recovered at the scene of Sullivan's 1964 murder.”
Reminds me of the Henry Lee Lucas case. He was a murderer, but didn't commit every murder he confessed to. The police were encouraging him because they wanted to close cases. Of course, it was a little more obvious in Lucas's case, when he'd confessed to around 400 murders all over the country.
You have such a gentle voice. When your giving details on how the women were found it your voice makes it sound not as sick. If I was a family member of one of the victims I wouldn't be upset. Great video thanks
I had confidence in you, SKD, that you wouldn't disappoint me. You are such a kind person, and I am grateful for that. I was getting restless because there was nothing new on true crime Tuesday. Sending lots of love to you and your team.❤❤
There’s only been one person‘s DNA on one of these poor women, and it was Albert’s! I’m so sick of listening to his stupid brother and all the rest of these idiots who think that there was like 10 stranglers running around! He was the first true serial killer only after Jack the Ripper.
Well then. I guess we'll really never know for sure. I've always believed that if someone adds a ton of detail to a story, they are more than likely lying. It usually comes off as they are trying to convince themselves more than you. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Especially if that person is known to seek extra attention of others, and wants to be the center of it.
I’ve been fascinated by serial killers since I was old enough to know what that meant. Never have ever been able to understand what makes them tick on any level yet still they exist. It has always made me wonder how many others there are that have these same urges and fantasy lives but don’t act on them that we will never know exist. 😊
I'm not "fascinated" by any killers. I watch for a totally different reason. I'm family of a murder victim and the friend of another. Nobody will ever be able to "prove" my uncle's death, but he was murdered. He owed money to the wrong sort of people [in 1980s NYC] & couldn't pay them back - and he deliberately pushed away every single person in his family, especially my mom and grandmother. Then he had a mysterious death in his car, which caught aflame and burned so hot he could only be identified through his dental records. The other was a capital murder that also happened in NYC, but it was a terrorist attack that he, and most of his body, did not survive. They recovered less than 4% of his body under The Pile of human and other rubble after both towers fell and cut our lives into thousands of pieces. It'll never be political to me, only personal. They have no idea what kind of decent person they killed, not that they'd CARE, but we have to care about whether their helper bees, who paid for this to happen, and concern ourselves with "how unfair it would be to give them the death sentence." And all of them have lived with complete ingratitude for the "mercy" given to them. It changes every single thing about you after you lose a loved one to a violent, ridiculous death.
Excellent excellent video very informative But serial killers don't stop unless they die or get locked up.which I find very strange in this case Where there anymore killing similar to this after
Says who? There's plenty of unsolved murders throughout history. Who's to say that many serial killers haven't got bored and stopped or stopped to avoid detection?
Somehow I really don’t think this guy did it, he was in company of a near genius level manipulator throughout the planning process, has a solid ulterior motive for confessing, and even the MO of the other murders don’t match. As a bonus, the head of the team of investigators had explicit political incentive to simply get a man behind bars for an election run. There’s just way too much intersectional interests here from both the murderer and the powers that be that were on the case, with the poor women all caught up in the center of it all.
I read a news article that said de Salvo's DNA matched what was found at Mary Sullivan's crime, put this on pause to check that I remembered that right. Said de Salvo. So, what gives? Did it match or not? Now I'm perplexed. I always thought he was innocent of the murders. Now I don't know. And there has been more than a few serial killers whi've killed a variety but I can't think of any right now. 🤔🤔🤔
People can mad at me if they want to,but I honestly believe he didn't do it. He admitted that he'd done some rapes before this happened but he didn't do the killings.
Ladies and Gents if some WF asked to measure You!! Ring 999,111,000,. Omg the past was wild So many missed Red Flags!! Stay safe stay fabulous Leeds England
Ooooooh! U mean "pomade" (pom-ade). Took me a min to figure out what in the world u were talking about.😂 and 1 description said perp had light hair and another mentions a missing tooth. Also I think there was at least 1 other killer. May have been a copycat or anther killer operating at the same time. Different m.o on at least 2 victims. 24:23
Sloppy. This video ends by saying that DeSalvo's DNA didn't match with the semen on Mary Sullivan. I DID. If this video and this channel got THAT rather bleeding essential piece of information wrong...what else is it getting wrong. And remember...the assault and murder of Ms Sullivan was exceptionally cruel and brutal.
Honey, you need to understand that the videos this man makes are HEAVY, very heavy topics, and the outro is a way to snap out of it a little bit, because not everyone can take it, you can see it as something disrespectful, dumb, whatever, but it serves a purpose
@@FungeHucker I just got out of yootoob comment jail and for what I don't know. Could be the f word or the k word or the m word or the c word or the b word or any a-z word...
The over-exaggerated storytelling is just killing me, it's just pathetic who you telling the story to a little child or some adults I don't need to know all the extra detailed facts like the music she was listening to he was irritated cuz he especially wanted to take his mother to the place he was supposed to that's just too much info man, you're just making up excessive amounts of details that don't go along with the story whatsoever
