Hello, this video is made to introduce CSW-H85N.
CSW-H85N is a serial to wireless LAN converter which converts serial data to TCP/IP data and vice versa. It adds wireless networking capabilities to your industrial RS232, RS422, and RS485 equipment.
Like other ezTCP products, CSW-H85N is easy to use. Users just need to config in a few steps.
Let’s take a look at hardware specification of CSW-H85N:
CSW-H85N has a compact size. 88.5mm in length, 57mm in width, 23mm in height.
Its weight is 65grams without an antenna.
CSW-H85N is equipped with one serial port that supports RS-232, 422 and 485.
LEDs are designed to indicate operation mode and network status.
The Function button on the side of its’ body is used to enter serial configuration mode.
CSW-H85N supports IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless LAN and has an embedded Wireless LAN module with A Reverse Polarity SMA connector for an external antenna.
Next is software specification.
Multi-Monitoring feature allows ezTCP to communicate with several peers in TCP at the same time.
For CSW-H85N, it supports up to 4 simultaneous TCP connections.
Next is that it supports various networking protocols, including IPv4 and IPv6 Dual Stack, TCP, UDP, TLS and etc.
Also, CSW-H85N operates and supports three different Wireless LAN modes and many WiFi security modes.
Introducing CSW-H85N’s main application, it obviously offers Serial networking solution. The device acts as a bridge between serial devices and the Internet.
Then, CSW-H85N allows two serial devices wirelessly communicate to each other through the Internet.
Lastly, with the support of ezVSP, the existing serial software in PC can communicate with Serial devices through the Internet as if PC connects directly to serial devices.
