This was true for me as well. so much of this video was on my test in one form or another. I had 2 full days to study for the 63 after taking my 6 and I read cheat sheets, watched deans 90 minute video on the 63 and this one! took about 30 quizzes and two simulated exams on kaplan BUT this video was the "Wrapper" of it all! :)

I was able to pass my 6/63 combo first try, and you played a large help. From the explication test videos, to these little brain warm ups pre test, all of the content I have found to be extremely helpful as any form of supplement. Dean I truly cannot thank you enough. I was never a great test taker in school, and with my study material alone I would have been screwed. Passed my SIE, 6 and 63 all first try in a 3 month span as I’m about to graduate college in 2 weeks now. Probably the best spree of accomplishments thus far for me. Your videos are God sent and you helped me hit my highest confidence, thank you sincerely.
I used pass perfect for my study materials but came to Dean for the practice tests. There I would take the test to determine if I actually understood the materials. I took my test today and passed first try! I was on a losing streak with exams. I failed the 66 3 times. Luckily I’m just an admin assistant for my firm and my job didn’t require the licensing but they were kind enough to sponsor me and pay for all of my study materials and exams. The exam was easy at first, then a lot of 50/50 questions in the middle then back to easy for the last few questions. I didn’t think I got it but I did thanks to your RU-vid videos and passperfect I guess… thanks Dean

I wanted to post this simple but important comment. I’ve been diligent to listen to all of these 60 min series and they have extremely helpful. Last night and this morning I listened to this particular video to prep for my series 63 exam and I can attest that they’re really helpful. There was about 4-5 questions that came up from this video and because of it was able to answer them correctly and ultimately pass my 63 today. Much appreciated 💪🙏

To anyone wondering I only got 3 roman numeral questions, any practice test you take will way over do it and as Dean says the language is horrible so don't overthink it.

DEAN! Thank you so much for your videos! Just finished the SIE, 7, 63 gauntlet passing each the first try. I used other resources for most of my learning but NOTHING beat your day of/day before video for each one. I listened to each the day before and the day of.
Found your videos a day before my SIE 10 days back. Only had chance to do the 60 minutes video then but went through all of your Series 63 videos this time. Just passed that too. Thank you so much! :) I do disagree with you on one aspect of this video. It is definitely a great video to listen to while on your way to the exam center. But it's also definitely worth one hour before you start any preparation and right after the first read of the textbooks. Listening to this video before even opening the books helped me get a very good high level idea of what to expect. Even though I did not retain anything from that run, it make going through the content feel familiar. Similarly, after the review of the text book once, it allowed me to build a mind map by just closing my eyes and listening to this video while remembering the more detailed material from the books.

I've used these videos for my SIE, Series 6, and now Series 63 as well. I am also using Kaplan's study materials and practice exams but these videos are VERY helpful and-no matter what Dean says in each video-you don't have to watch them the day of your exam and you certainly CAN learn from them. ;) Again, I am also using Kaplan, so it isn't like I'm ONLY using these videos, but I am learning from them, as Dean has a way of explaining things that makes sense when sometimes the bland and boring textbook does NOT!

Dean, just passed my Series 63 this morning… got sick of Kaplins overly complex questions and switched back to you after you were so helpful in me passing my SIE and 6. I work for a larger Financial company and they base their training on Kaplin. Several of my colleagues have told me they just listened to you and Testgeek and passed without trouble. The ones who use Kaplin all seem frustrated with the excessive complexity and (often) tricks played on students. Regardless, I listened to this very podcast on the way to the 63 and passed with 10 minutes left on the times. Thank you 👍👍👍

Dean - thanks a ton for all the work that you do... and the fact that you're offering it free boggles me haha. The quality of content that you provide for the 7 and 63 is incredible. For fellow 63 takers, fyi the actual exam is significantly easier than Kaplan's practice and mastery exams so don't worry too much if you're on the border with those scores. Just know the stuff Dean talks about here and don't overthink it.
Hey, Blue. I know you can't legally go into extreme detail, but can you elaborate on easier, please? My employer provided me the Kaplan material for studying and I feel as though I've been retaining the information really well. 80 to 90% on all of the checkpoint exams. My concern is other people saying the actual test almost felt like completely different info to what they actually studied. Thank you!
