A battery question. For years I've been running 2, group 31 deep cycle batteries 12vdc. Let's say each has 100 AH, so, I feel if I run both together keeping 12vdc, I should have 200AH. After years of doing this a few weeks ago someone said no, I still only have 100AH. Now I'm starting to question myself. I use them to run a 12vdc transceiver, and they charge off a 240watt panel, and 400watt turbine. I had these 2 batteries 10+ years and time for new. So, what do you say? in short am I right or not?

If you have two 12V DC batteries in parallel, then you would add their capacities together. So you have 200 Ah.

I have a question: Can a jumper (0 ohm resistor or other SMT jumper) cause issues in the return current of signals? (issues related to EMC). especially if the jumper has big footprint.

When the footprint is large it would cause a slight impedance difference, but you would not notice until the frequency range is quite high, into the 2 GHz range or higher.
