I was in the building, and from the intros you knew there was favoritism towards Geechi. People barely cheered when Serious came out. I predicted Geechi was going to win, but it’s wrong how they did serious. I get that some of his bars are dated, but every time he would really start cooking some asshole in the back would yell “time” and people would laugh. Never understand why they couldn’t just let him rap. Crowds can really ruin battles.

I don't get why battlers and fans like to bring up "the better pen" when sayin why a battler should've won when they lose. But battle rap is more than just a pen. There's stage presence, punches, timely haymakers and delivery as well. If battle rap was only about the pen, then battlers like Quantum Physics, JC and Chilla etc would be considered the goats of this shit. But like I said, there's a lot more that goes into winning a battle than just the better pen.
All you need in battle rapp is a pen. All that other stuff is ok. But when you battle someone like Daylyte it dot matter how good of a performance you had you about to get lyrically killed. I been watching battle rapp for 27 years and I miss the street corner days because them days was so great. Until they gave them a stage

Jones buggin it might not have been a pro-NYC crowd, but it was def more NYC, jersey, philly, etc etc, the east coast region in the building than anything.. Im from Ohio and felt like he didnt get a fair shake, like the crowd really did homeboy dirty. And i felt like the url was petty, for having math flip the coin on that battle. And the fans not giving him a bigger reaction to him sayin fucc cali, only means hes not mook. Smh shouts to jones tho, hes a battle rap legend who doesnt get the credit he deserves.
Jones and Roc are my two favorite battlers and both have to deal with unfair angles “math” and “trannys” no crowd please. Hopefully they both realize those angles are corny and stay away from that.

The problem is Jones tries to act tough but we don’t believe him. Plus he has the reputation of being a jerk. He almost fights in every battle. Dizaster pushed him around the stage math put him to sleep mid round. Jimz tried to fight him mid battle. Goodz sent someone after him for dissing his daughter. Versus Swave a man in the crowd threatened him. Even Pat stay and him we’re gonna fight after Pat had to cancel because he had loss his voice. Even ARP bodied Jones too. Even Lush one threatened Jones lol. Also Jones beats up women so how can u respect him.
The issue with serious jones is nobody takes him seriously. He is always smiling, laughing, joking, and he thinks he's a pretty boy. How are you those things with a name like serious.
