God did NOT promise us "he would not hurt us anymore " after the flood. God did make a covenant saying he would as in Genesis 9:15 "Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life".She is very much wrong.

You're in for a tragic surprise. There are people and there is behavior. It's important to separate people from behavior. People are children of God. Behavior is changeable. God loves us unconditionally, but he does not save us unconditionally. Active homosexuality is an abomination, and those who choose to live outside of God's commandments will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.
