Serology: Complement Fixation Test 

Takes me back. I used to do complement fixation tests for bovine Johne's disease back in the 60s at the Central Veterinary Laboratory in the UK. I also worked on CFT for mycoplasmal infections and also for auto-immune responses using the Wasserman test. I also worked on a variation, the conglutinating complement fixation test. Very good explanation. We used to bleed our own guinea pigs and sheep.
