I feel awful for those poor birds, man get out there with a shovel and dig them up a proper pond! My goodness!!!

Domestic ducks do not "need" a swimming place, they only need a bowl of water deep enough to dunk their head so they can clean their eyes and nostrils. I provide the pond and several different options so they can choose how they want to play. Google AI response "While ducks do enjoy water and may spend hours swimming in ponds or playing in puddles, they don't need a pond to be happy and healthy. In fact, some say that a wading pool is safer for domestic ducks than a pond. If you do choose to provide a pond, it should be 18-24 inches deep and have a beach entry and shallow shelf for easy access. You should also check and refill the water daily, as ducks are messy."

"Poor ducks" My ducks have a home, they have a safe area, they have 3 houses to choose from, a cabana, a pond, several tubs and pools of water for bathing and splashing, proper nutrition, access to fresh fruit and veggies at will, vet care, sunshine and grass to root though. Poor ducks are the domestic ducks, like my Angel, that was abandoned and forced to fend for their survival. Those are the poor ducks. Those are the ducks that do not have a happy and healthy life. Poor ducks are also the ducks that do not receive proper nutrition, like my Angel, and develop deformities that don't heal, those are the poor ducks.

You obviously have not looked through the entire channel to see all of the options my beautiful ducks have for swimming (Like the pond and several little pools, my ducks choose where they swim and play, they have free will). Before you feel the need to cast your negativity on to others, please take a deep look into yourself to find out why.
