Side note; to use the jump point, you have to request leave similar to a space station/spaceport (get to the end of that "routeway or whatever" and then request). Just keep in mind if you try it, as they've stated, it can bork your PTU account, and you'll have to recover it again.
Was just about to say, you have to request access and use the jump drive to access the worm hole. A few people noted that they got in but the tunnel doesn't lead anywhere right now.
@@Billy-bc8pk Yeah, it goes into a blackhole like area, then (at least the last test) it pukes you back out. But sounds like this test, it'll bork the PTU account.
Did the Jump during EVO test. Was a awesome traffic jam. The worm hole pulses in some phases. You need to go at the right time at max to get in. For this you would probably be stuck in the tunnel as the Pyro server is not there. When you get the timing of the jump point you will be able to jump every time and not be pushed back
sorry, I was a bit mad. Spent over an hour to load the 890j, and plan to go to many places, and this guys just blow it up for no reason. Anyway, thank you for the comments...lol
How sad is that, to feel rejoiced about having the old interaction system, the old ship UI and the old flight model? I have never felt like that before when trying out PTU content. Switching back to live always felt like a step back
I got satisfaction just watching you kill that Corsair jerk. If you had MM he wouldn't have been able to run away so easily. As for the jump point, Pyro was not included in this build so no one was getting through that jump gate, in fact your ship didn't even have a jump drive which needs to spool up and align to the jump gate before you can actually jump.
They must have put something in there to keep people out of the jump point.. very first note in the patch notes, in gray highlight says do-not jump to Pyro, it will brick your account till you recopy your ptu account
I understand they want master modes, and many people including myself are okay with it, but that doesn't change the fact that I like things so much better the way they were. Your video is so refreshing without master modes.
@@danrlewis I think love is an overstatement. Accept it seems to be more common. I'm not into hardcore PVP. Mostly I think it just overcomplicates the flight system. Things felt smoother before and PVE fighting felt much better. Racing is non-existent now. A lot of things need to improve. I accept switching between modes but it it just seems like an unnecessary step. I'm fine with it I just don't love it.
Hmm your dog fight without master modes reminds me why i like master modes. They just used to run away! Still happens but at least there is a cost to running away now
the "Kid" is the mastemode :P Installing tech preview...need to test. ...WAIT,,,you walked around the ship without getting tossed out of the ship ??!?!?!? (Editing as i see the video).
It’s not master modes, it’s the speeds you don’t like. The idea of switching from nav to scm is fine. You just want your ship to be faster and more nimble during combat. That’s ship tuning.
@@Patch1xo there’s a lot to come with ship tuning. I never liked the old flight model, yeah there were cool moves you could do during PvP but I hated tricording and bicording. It also made NPCs worthless as they could not handle that flight model. I like the fact now that PvP isn’t the only area to have good ship to ship combat (more NPCs makes increases difficult as long as servers are good)
