2000 Chevrolet Silverado - service 4wd light is on and 4 wheel drive is not engaging. Client decided to just start replacing parts himself rather than taking it to a shop to have it properly diagnosed.

Thank, took mine in out $4000 last year still stop working. Will check the ground wire.

As he said it's right by the body mount. It's below the driver door.

Look all the way underneath your truck, driver's side,you should see two wires. That's your grounds.

Please help my service all wheel drive light keeps coming on. I have a dodge charger put it on the scanner and says transfer case high temperature. took it to a mechanic couldn't figure out the problem. The light will come on randomly. Do you have a shop I can take it to I'm in California
