Keep your pets in PET FRIENDLY STORES ONLY or if the store is not pet friendly please keep them at home and real service dog handlers won’t have a problem! Thanks 😊
Exactly unfortunately people are trying to use now Equity diversity inclusion as an excuse to profit off of letting pets into their stores like the Dollar Tree the Dollar General and even Walmart and when you call it out and you contact the corporate because somebody's brought their dog in and put them in a freaking cart and is walking around and trying to get their dog socialize where they don't belong to begin with and then they come up to people and try to get them to talk and get intention thinking from it validation from it and then harass handlers with service dogs when you try to report it to the police department who clearly does not understand fragile Ada and HIPAA and that not all places are pet friendly including those places even though the place is lie to officers claiming they are when they're not if the officer calls corporate to verify they would know the truth but they don't want to charge them and so they're repeated offenders and then handlers have to go outside of their City to find affordable places to shop because they cannot going into those places because they're allowing do not belong there and they know that. And yet the city I've gone up to the city of Livonia Michigan and they still do nothing about it they do not educate their police officers they don't First Responders or anybody about Federal ADA compliance and procedures and protocol until you get issues like that and then even like if you need to go in an ambulance to the hospital you get issues with EMS not knowing compliance to Federal Ada that the service dog is permitted to go anywhere the service dogs Handler goes at any time and no one can separate them from their Handler they should know better but again they want to try to find ways around the law because they see people bring their pets places that don't belong there and they're afraid to say that they think your dog is not a service because of an unseen medical condition or conditions you have that they don't see yet you are on the transport to the hospital for that condition situation because of another condition that you have and it's just really destroying the rights and the abilities for safety and well-being of customers and handlers with legitimate service dogs when we want to go places because we're having to go outside of our city or having to contact and pay more for transportation to the hospital because our own city is not willing to let us speak with our mayor office the city people who pick up the phone and address the situation and work with taking taxpayer money and educating our First Responders of how to handle situations and to know the law and to follow through on it and not let people off the hook when they are violating the rights of Americans with Disabilities who do require a service dog
I have a service dog and I can keep her clean but the minture horse shit needs to be re thought. You can whipe a dogs paws off but litteral shit can get stuck in there hooves and they can tract it everywhere. Also horses eat hay more people have severe plant allergies than have allergies to dogs. Leave barn yard animals at home they have no place in a restaurant!
PTSD falls under psychiatric service dogs if it's disabling. For example my PTSD triggers pseudo-seizures which can be dangerous if I hit my head wrong.
So your saying a PET is allowed in NONE PET friendly places. Where ONLY task trained medically necessary service dogs are allowed? Risking legitimate service dogs and their handlers lives?
butterfly 123 butterfly butterfly Hi. No need to be UpSet. By the ADA law people with disabilities can legally have their service dog with them at any place they go. People who have seizures or asthma and many other disabilities can have their service dog alert before an episode happens so they can sit down and get ready for the episode. And then the service dog will help with the episode. So by law you can’t deny access to a person with a disability with a service dog just because they are not blind.😊 I hope this helps educate a little bit
@@MyleeBenoit it's a known fact that people with asthma have attacks within minutes of being in a building with an animal they are allergic to.. I know all about the law on service dog's, probably more than you think. I also know that people are abusing the system. Are there people who need service dog's ? Absolutely... But I'm going to stores actually watching people walk in with dog's that they can't even control. I talked to my councilman about this situation several times already and showed him how ridiculously easy it is for anyone to lable their pet as a service animal and he agreed that these laws need changed. We have 10 Immunologists who all wrote letters explaining how dangerous it is to have this many animals contamidating businesses.. the dander does not leave just by sweeping and mopping, it takes months to go away. So what they want to do is tighten up the Law's on service dog's they expect it to take up to two years, but the only people in my state that will be allowed to walk in with service animals are people with life threatening issues. You can believe it or not, doesn't really matter to me.. but what does matter is all of these poser's getting stopping dead in their tracks.
butterfly 123 butterfly butterfly I agree people abuse the system and bring in un- trained pets who have not been trained for a disability that needs the assistance service dog. But for REAL service dogs that have been trained for a disability no matter if a person is allergic to the dog or not or has asthma attacks, That person is just like any other regular individual needs to do his/her shopping and go about their life with their service dog. If a service dog is denied access into a building just because of someones allergies, the person who denied that service dog access can go to jail. So whether a person is allergic or not they have to either leave the building or move to a different area because the service dog handler and a service dog have a legal right to stay in the building
@@MyleeBenoit ok once again I do not need a lesson on service dog laws lol.. I made it very clear what my problem is, and I am all for people who really need service dog's. I was there listening to my councilman and his lawyer talking about how 15% of the population is allergic to dog's and cats, 1.2% of people have epilepsy and a bunch more stats.. asthma and pet allergies squash all of them so it's going to seriously effect us more than anyone. I told them that all I'm against is emotional support animals. I think it's absolutely ridiculous and it's putting 15% of the population in serious danger. If we get rid of them we can cut this problem in half. Do you know what happens when we have an allergic reaction ? Our eyes swell shut, we get hives all over our face, neck, and chest, our lungs close up, and we're sick for up to a week after, and you think that's ok ? people actually die from these reactions, this isn't a joke. I had 1 uneducated moron tell me all I had to do is stick myself with an epipen and keep it moving LMAO. This is way bigger than you can imagine and I promise the amount of service pets you see in public will be cut in half before 2023. If we don't keep pushing this issue people like myself will not be able to shop in stores or eat at restaurants without being shipped off to the ER and that's not ok. Just imagine what's going to happen when that 15% of the population that has pet allergies, find out about what we're talking about lol. By the time I'm done, the only people who will be allowed to bring pets in a business will be people with life threatening issues and blind people.. and I will gladly leave so they can come in. But I will not leave for some idiot who says he or she is sad and needs an animal everywhere they go. I'm not really interested in continuing this conversation unless it's with someone who can make a move on this issue. You obviously give 2 shits about millions of people who can actually die from this problem so we're not going to get anywhere by debating. So you can get your last words in and tell me how wrong I am and kick some more laws that I already know, and I'll keep working with my councilman on this issue until his meeting with our governor and you'll eventually see I was right. And the number 1 problem on our list is demanding these people have a service dog license to eliminate the fakers. But we don't want them to have to pay for the license, he's asking for it to be completely free. So once again I am not against the people who need their pets, my heart goes out to them.. but people with asthma and pet allergies are not going to be ignored.
butterfly 123 butterfly butterfly whether a person has extreme allergic reactions or not that’s not a service dog handler‘s problem the service dog handler will continue their day and shop and do whatever they need to do. It’s not the handler’s job to worry about other peoples problems😊
My ESA is a bearded dragon groomed to nuzzle me in the event of a combat flashback. Two years of work and handling for such events. I was forced to show his documents or leave the restaurant. and asked what he does for my combat disability. After proving he was a licensed registered ESA. I was kicked out of the restaurant.
