symptom: hard starting when cold.
Cause: Leaking fuel line at the Cold Start Fuel injector.
In this video I demonstrate how to remove and test the Cold Start Fuel Injector on a 1979 VW Beetle. lots of Tubes and pipes....

Not likely. 69 was not fuel injected. Would be same for a bus, or vanigan with injection

when working on fuel injected autos only use fuel hose clamp made for fuel injection systems be safe not have hair on fire,volks FI low press system 30 35 psi still use correct clamps they are solid with rounded edges ,so not cut hose ,use only FI rated hose ,2 ply, yay
