This video was in reference to a John Deere LA115 with a hydrostatic transmission. The manufacturer of that differential is TuffTorq. All information I gathered was from their website along with personal experience.
Truth is the fluid probably didn't need changing, but since I was replacing the belt and had almost everything off anyway, the decision was made to go ahead and refresh the fluid.
I am the second owner of this mower. It had been taken care of and only had 200 hours on the meter.
