​@@carmensandiego328 When the producers wanted to give sesame Street a new look for season 46 they wanted to change the set up a bit the set had stayed mostly the same since season 30 with minor changes: like the garage staircase changing color and being removed, laundry mat in place of the fix it ship, finally they decided to move Oscar a lot closer to the action

That’s Tom. He was Mr. Hooper’s assistant for Season 3 and part of Season 2. He didn’t last too long.
