This is a GREAT find, for a show that has been considered “lost media” for over 20 years!
From 1997, this show features Sam the Postman, Barkley, Grundgetta, and Zoe. Including songs and dialogue that was or wasn't in the 2009 Version of the show.

Plot/Storyline:
In Act 1, Sam the Postman, brings the Sesame Friends postcards from their penpals. They wonder what it would be like to visit the places on the postcards, and Sam encourages them to use their imaginations. Rosita travels to Mexico, and introduces the cast to her abuela while having a fiesta and learning Spanish. Ernie pilots the ship S.S. Rubber Duckie, while Bert goes underwater to meet some fish and cheer up a depressed octopus. Then, the Sesame Friends visits the beach for hula dancing and surfing.
In Act 2, everyone learns what it is like to be a dog, like Barkley. Elmo plays drums in the jungle and dances to the rhythm of the African Rainforest. They then go to a campsite with Roxie Marie, where they also meet Baby Bear’s family, Uncle Grizzly and Aunt Ursula. They go to Mardi Gras for Big Bird’s Big Parade, and finally return home to Sesame Street.
