After watching a video by Toasty Ghost, i was inspired to find some huge gaps in Session. This is what i found!

14:28 grinds an entire ledge about like 20 feet high over a road, comes straight down and lands no problem 14:33, a slight nudge to a curb at ground level barely moving, and falls in defeat

The faster you go, the earlier you have to compress for the pop. Its not about when/where you pop, its when/where you compress for the pop. I honestly think you would’ve gotten the first two gaps without a kicker if you did this. Sick vid though man! ☺️

I did try a bunch of different Ollie timings. I cut a lot of tests from the video. I just couldn’t get over the gaps without the banks. I’m hoping someone can prove me wrong tho and get it without banks, that would be awesome

I wanted to get it without a ramp too. I felt cheap for using them. Had to progress the video somehow instead of spending all day trying to get an Ollie over sets hahaha Maybe I’ll revisit these at some point and see if I can do it.

It doesn’t work on Mac :( only windows. There is a way to get it running on Mac using a program called Wine. All you really need to do it look up how to run .Exe games on Mac

The "Session Map Switcher" program allows you to change the amount of objects you're allowed to drop. Check it out sometime. Love the vids.

Always Manual Catch. The only time play on Auto is when I have to do a Tre Flip into a grind cause for right now there’s a glitch with Tre flips on manual.

@@JLNightmare I'm struggling a little bit with my hardflips and varial heels with the manual catch. And the whole body spin thing is giving me a major run for my money. I decided to stick it on manual and persevere though. Can't wait until multiplayer is a thing

yeah, the tricks were too far. I was kind of rushing the replays a bit. You would think me being a skate filmer for the last 13 years I would know better hahaha

Also the FPS being capped at 30 doesn’t help much.. makes things not look smooth and clear. Unfortunately I have to lower FPS when I record

Hope you are aware that if you wait, it will cost more later. If you buy it now, that becomes the full game for 20$. Highly suggest buying it again NOW and keep it till it’s full game

I think they should make this kind of stuff impossible to do in this game since this should simulator not a tont hawl

You mean being able to do the gaps? Or the way the items stay when nothing is supporting them? think about this.. Danny Way jumped the Great Wall Of China by building a ramp. Huge gaps are realistic. So these gaps would be possible. Building the ramps would still be possible even if there had to be objects under the wood. Even doing a back tail for a looooong time is possible, Torrey Pudwill proves this :p

@@JLNightmare ok its physically possible to do that what danny way did but i am quite sure he did not do 360 kickflip over that. I mean this is taking away the feeling of reality that simulator should have. Although its quite hard to make actually realistic simulator becouse in real life there is the fear of geting hurt or even death. In a simulator you can do what ever you want without fear

@@thereisnorighteousperson1049 well he did do a 360 grab over it ;) it would have been 100% possible for Danny way or any other pro vert skater to 360 kickflip over the wall. the stuff that people are doing off mega ramps these days are insane. stuff we thought not possible in skateboarding are becoming possible. Mitchie Brusco's 1260 for example, barely anyone back in the day could do a 900. these days a 900 isnt that special. skateboarding is always evolving and people are always pushing the limits. these gaps and the tricks over them may seem crazy / unrealistic but i bet over time this stuff wont seem that unrealistic. Be glad i didnt do stuff like Nollie hardflip 720 Benihana backflip to back noseblunt nollie 360 inward heel revert to manual type crap hahaha gaps are huge but i kept it pretty realistic

@@JLNightmare i agree it is possible but i think it is just too easy. In a game it is almost as easy to do kickflip in huge gap as just on flat. They should make it somehow harder to di big gaps and drops. But i agree it is possible but just should be harder.

It seems like the board top colour changes every update. 0.0.0.4 was red, 0.0.0.5 was green.. etc. You could see if every deck has the same colour top or different ones in the board select

You know you’re comparing a game that is in Early access (pre-alpha phase) made by a team of 7 people with a small budget to a finished game made by a giant company with a huge budget and a lot of people working on it LOL

Its already better than skate, if you find persistence and hard work fun then "session" is amazing. I just wish the dang replay editor was a bit more user friendly lol
