SESSION ROAD STREET MARKET BAGUIO CITY | PANAGBENGA IN SESSION ROAD 2024 IN BLOOM
People usually come to Baguio for its cold climate, warm people, laidback mountain lifestyle, and highland culture. However, the Baguio experience wouldn’t be complete without a stroll, shopping, and food trip at the Night Market. The festival, held in February, was created as a tribute to the city's flowers and as a way to rise from the devastation of the 1990 Luzon earthquake. Feel the energy at the Panagbenga Grand Street Dance Parade. Participants in vibrant costumes dance to the rhythm of drums and music, celebrating the cultural heritage of the region. The procession starts at Panagbenga Park, South Drive, and moves through Upper Session Road to Melvin Jones Football Grounds. The highlight of the festival is undoubtedly the Grand Float Parade, where meticulously crafted floats adorned with an array of colorful and fragrant flowers parade through the streets of Baguio City. These floral masterpieces are a testament to the creativity and artistry of the local community. The week-long Session Road in Bloom where Baguio’s main street is closed to traffic to accommodate local micro, small, and medium enterprises, and artisans to showcase and sell their products and crafts, is set from February 26 to March 3.
