it's Nova Scotia. Obviously, a typical spring day in Nova Scotia. All the waves are in slow motion here. You'd think it would give you more time to get into the wave, but you end up going in slow motion too... the traditional Nova Scotian folk music is a nice touch! thanks!
no its Not Headies, Brickyard Point, l grew up lived and surfed Headies from the 70' 80's & 90's along with Sandom Point etc. This break is just Sth. & its Towragie Pt.& the Northern Wollongong Escarpment in the background is where l use to Hang glide. Headies was My Home Break.
Zepster77 I surfed a lot of days at Puerto like this & if you triangulated you’re position correctly, you’d get the same shot at a deep barrel. However, if you pushed your luck at the takeoff, it was a beating you didn’t forget - even after a dozen Superior beers 😂😂
Looks very similar, but no. SI breaks a couple of hundred meters off Cronulla point and its a bit more mutant than this, often sucking up so your surfing over dry reef!!!
Another great video. Surfing has come so far since the ‘70’s when I was a grom. Back then, in SoCal, my buddies and I thought the only waves worth riding were Pacific and Indian Ocean. Man, we’re we wrong...
@@jacklucas4665 as someone who grew up surfing the east coast (of the us, not aus), we only get it close to this good in the fall and once in a while in the winter.
@@redlion45 Up here in NY we get a few solid winter swells a year, some specific beaches go off but if your looking for a slab you have to go further up into maine

This break was just down the road from me all my young life. No one would surf it because you couldn't tell it was breaking from the land. It wasn't till later that people realised what a good wave it was. 😢
I can see Mt K - - - - a. There is another clue for hunters. Ive never surfed this break, but i grew up south of here and the surf was awesome all the way down the coast from this spot. Amazing place.
