no way the new set mechanic is another one that disproportionately impacts all players again

It sounds so bad... another layer of randomness to already frustratingly random game i.e. not finding in the shop uncontested champion you particularly need. I assume since it's going to be a set mechanic it has to be meaningful so... Now you can get lucky with charms or unlucky and even if you decided not to buy the useless ones, enemy can have helpful ones and win because of that or simply put himself in better spot.

How is anyone making comments about "Oh this mechanic sucks", "Oh its encounters but worse" when the set was literally just announced. Like at least play the set on PBE before making assumptions. If you hate the game just say you hate the game and go play something else lol

Maybe i am way out of pocket for this one but there is a point where you go overboard with all this cuteness overload. I am not 5 years old man...mechanics seems the same "variance is good" bs in a different uniform unfortunatly. Just another layer of you streaking or not is going to be decided by getting lucky charms + strong opener + strong augment in a benefical galaxy. Very sad they AGAIN did nothing for the huge playerbase that does not want the rng to go more and more every set but instead doubling down, again. However i dont think i am the target audience with this anymore anyways.

This is even worse than the last set. It's nothing about tactics anymore. It's only about luck, bees, sugar and other crap. If you like gambling and you're lucky, give it a try, if you're focused on tactics.. well, search for an alternative. Good job ruining a cool game mode. Time to delete it all together with everything from RIOT!!

More rolling mechanics? So 4 cost reroll boards on 4-2 will get great charms while 9 boards will be forced to endure unique charms...? 2/3 cost rerolls will dominate early because they will generate more choices of s-tier charms??? This just seems so RNG. @mortdog

just another stupid mechanic i have to keep track of and that they have to try to balance which they usually end up failing to do.

stop adding more rng elements into the game its so unhealthy , sure it makes it looks fresh , but only in short term , in the long term this makes the game more frustrating to play
