Dude that was a big difference. That point and they are right back in it WITH momentum. You can't judge the rest of that set like that. They obviously won a set cause it was in the final set. Don't act like you wouldn't be heated in that situation.
Everybody's talking about the lift when the guy was already angry after the non-call on the double/lift/catch+release/whatever you want to call it at 2:25. But then he kicked the ball so it's hard to feel any sympathy.
anyone have the full speed without slow-motion on the lift... apparently if it rebounds off of your fingers only on a non hard-driven ball, it's considered legal contact. that's what I'm being told by FIVB refs...i still don't understand how that's possible but they said they watched in full speed and deemed this legal
@@BeachVolleyballVideos I recognize one of your refs/players, last name Mortimer. He used to play at Volleyball Beach in Martin City / Missouri. Real nice guy. Looking forward to more content from you guys!
@@sajeevmenon452 there’s no rules against using your hands to contact a ball. Doesn’t matter if it’s first, second or third touch. Just has to be clean as any set needs to be. It’s a weird misconception among a large base of lower level players that they can’t take a set on the first touch, maybe because most don’t have the skill to do it
