Today I would like to praise God for years I have been going to church and never understood or believed in God or could bring myself to believe in Him. I'd pray faithlessly asking God To help me understand or help me believe that the Bible is His word and not a fairytale . After a while id simply given up and went my own way...but something in me always felt empty and id always question what would happen to me if i were to Die. So I started praying to our lord and savior Jesus Christ and asked him to hear my faithless prair and help me understand his word help this faithless man know what his love is and know salvation. Needless to say today this video appeared on my RU-vid time-line out of no were , at first I wasn't gonna watch it but something inside me told me to...so I did. I could not stop weeping throughout the whole video I felt relieve, peace , calmness and i knew god was talking to me and letting me know that this is his Love and I now understand that I am a sinner and that only though him can i bee saved and only though him will i know eternal life...i ask that whomever reads this msg im writing please pray for me that I may not faulter but become stronger under God and continue knowing his Glory..My Name is Juan...thank you pastor for preaching God's msg that opened up my heart.
You mean you think Pastor Carter doesn't know about the pagan origins of the word "Easter" and the fact that it coincides with the date of a pagan festival? I'm sure he does. But he doesn't waste time and energy majoring in the minors. In any case, simply saying "Happy Resurrection Sunday" instead of "Happy Easter" doesn't change the fact that Christians have commemorated Christ's resurrection on that date for centuries and it's as good a date as any of the other 364 possible dates. Timing a real Christian celebration of Jesus to coincide with the date of a demonic pagan event is one way to fight the demons in high places and send confusion into the enemy camp. If the Church always lets pagan festivals, words, names, etc. control how and when you worship, there wouldn't be any date on the calendar left for events that can be profitably used to tell the story of Jesus from generation to generation. For instance, every day of the week is named after a pagan diety except Sunday. So if we worry too much about pagan origins, we can't do anything on six our of seven days. That's how the curse of keeps people in bondage.
amen sister, my dad just past away last Wednesday and he went whith the Lord I'm a lil sad , but in peace on that side he was a man of God, will see him in heaven one day
