It's very easy to edit hopeful videos and call for everyone to "break free", when you're privileged enough to be comfortable in your own skin and live in a country that, at the very least, doesn't threaten to have you killed or further restrict your basic human rights if you live your true self.
So, while this was very therapeutic on a personal level, i made this video keeping in mind the many, outrageous, anti-trans bills that the US has been passing those last few years, as well as the foul transphobia that is currently permeating british and french politics. Politics that i'm sure would make mccarthy and eisenhower quite proud indeed.
