I've just posted a new video with tunes recorded on the concertina. Please feel free to have a listen if you'd like to 😊🎶 Thanks, Caroline x ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3cAHwCWqxTQ.html
I like it. I have been playing the guitar for 50 years and now I'm beginning to learn to paly my 20 button Anglo concertina . I love what you are playing. says Judy Corrette
That was really good. Glad I ran up on it I've been wanting a concertina for several years now. How I even heard of them is a neat story too long to tell right now. But thanks. I enjoyed the song. Looks like fun.
@@Carolinereganmusic i just started to learn the concertina, it's quite difficult if you switch from stringed instruments to concertina but I'm loving it so far.
@@samvermeulen9740 Oh that's great to hear Sam! Yeah it can be tricky at first but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it quickly! There are lots of great online resources as well. If you need any help or info just let me know 😊
It is great, and if you can play harmonica, ( chromatic )quite easy to latch on to, but to play like this lass unless you are a musical genious, I,m afraid takes years.🤗🤗🤗🤗
I love how happy it makes you both to play this. I'm just looking into getting an Anglo concertina. I'm not sure how well I'd get on with different notes on the push/pull. Is it easy enough to get the hang of? And is there anyway I could learn from the internet? Thanks for sharing your passion and talent :)
Hi, I hope you're getting on well with the concertina! There's a website called the OAIM which gives lessons. Please feel free to get in touch if you need any info 😊🎶
You should definitely give it a go. I started off with a lachenal 30 key c/g Anglo concertina. I think they're around £700-1200. There are lots of lessons online to get you started. If you need any info please feel free to get in touch 😊🎶
You ladies are very good. I am interested in playing the concertina. Can you tell me what type fingering layout is your concertina? Is it the Jeffries or the Wheatstone? Thanks for any info.
Sorry this is so late and I'm also a nerd, but the Anglo concertina has straps that go all the way across the hand and the English concertina just has a thumb loop. That's the easy way to tell from a distance.
