What a pleasure it was to meet you, Mark. Thank you for sharing your very valued time with us today. I'm very impressed and love your art. It brings tears to my eyes! Art is amazing. Color is amazing. I love the science of mixing color to create other colors! Wow! Michael B. and Lisa Naegle... 🖐️
Lisa, you are delightful, I love your enthusiasm and positive energy. When my Nettie is back in town, it would be fun to go out with you and Mike. I really enjoyed talking shop (art) with Steph. I wish him every success.
Congrats on your RU-vid channel launch! Makes me want to try oil painting, but alas... sticking with watercolor for now. Best of luck and thanks for the chats and info at your studio. I finally subscribed to that watercolor content creator you pointed to (Pitt) and am watching some videos today. 🙂
That was the reason I quit using those paper pads and went to glass! I order my glass palettes to fit into the masterson box. I put a ot 5-7 drops of clove oil on the round make up remover pads. Works great. Paint lasts for weeks. With exception of the umbers. I have multiple box’s too. If I had seen this years ago. 😂😊
Hey, thanks for the comment. I’m curious about your glass palette. Do you use a particular type of glass: tempered? thickness? non glare? …I’m interested to know how difficult it is to clean them when it’s time to reset your palette with fresh paints, or, does the clove oil keep things fresh enough that a stir of most colors on the palette, with a palette knife, allows you to just add paint as needed? With exception of the umbers. The one time I tried glass, It was a job to scrape and clean. I’ve wondered if a particular glass would clean easier. I have heard of, but not tried the clove oil, perhaps that is the answer to the glass clean up as well. I’m interested in your thoughts/experience.
