I really like class dojo ! Our school starts next week my daughter is starting 1st grade this year and yes parents love when teachers post individual kids pictures and group photos 😊

Wow this looks absolutely amazing for parents! As a parent I would be thrilled with this level of communication. My oldest was in K last year and that was our first year in the school system. Admittedly I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing last year but I did feel like the lack of communication left me in the dark. I just want to encourage you to keep up your hard work! You are certainly making a difference in those children’s lives!

This past summer I learned how to create new points and this past school year (toward the end) I learned that you can post things to the kiddos portfolio’s on your phone….. And Imam soooo going to use the timer and turn all of my new kiddos into seeds this school year - love that! Thank you soooo much for all of your back to school content this year - I soooo have enjoyed it and have gotten many ideas as well….. 😍

Last school year, I had 20-22 students. This year, I have 16 with the max being 18 since we have an extra first grade teacher (6 teachers). My school already used class dojo

This is so perfect because I just made a class dojo account three days ago to use this year 😂😂 I’ve been a ClassTag user but the ads are out of control now, so officially a dojo-er now!

When I was teaching kindergarten, I had 16 kids. I am in special education now and currently have 8! Our orientation is tomorrow!

Mayleen, thank you so much!! Some questions, do you give every student a point everyday? Does it vary depending on the day? When the kids use their points, do you clear their points? I tried ClassDojo years ago and these were my problems. I really want to use it again but I don’t want to overwhelm myself 🥴

Do you give prizes at a certain number of points?? I’ve tried it with a prize every 10 points….and every 25 points.

Can I ask what you include in your meet the teacher need to know pictures on your story?

Is class dojo free for parents? Because all I saw was subscriptions or a 7 day free trial no where did I see free to use
