• To begin, from any web browser type 192.168.1.1 the Alcatel device will load a website.
• Tap the top and enter the password "admin", then swipe right until you reach the “Settings” page
• Tap “WiFi settings”
• From here, you can change the “SSID”, which is the name of the unit when connecting a device via Wi-Fi.
• Leave “WiFi Security” unchanged, but change “Cipher” to “Auto”
• Change the “Key” to your desired Wi-Fi password, and scroll down to tap the “save” button.
• Press “OK”
• Next, you will need to go back to your Wi-Fi connection page on any connected devices to select the Alcatel device again.
• Type your new password in, and navigate back to the webpage.
• Log in, and tap the toggle at the top of the page so that it shows “connected”.
• If for any reason you need to factory reset your device, you can do this by pressing and holding down both the power and WPS buttons on the top of the device for 30 seconds
• Any factory settings will now be restored
