I would love some really random planty merch with the slogan “magnetic force is the most magical thing” on it hahaha I love you guys together! Always so fun to watch 🥰
Ha ha dinosaurs 😂 you two together are so great! that cabinet is amazing and I loved the tour finally your plants have more space!! happy for you and love it x
Thank you! I just tried to set up my 1st cabinet although I picked up one of the glass pieces and it totally shattered in my hands 🤯!?! Thankfully I am ok along with my doggie!
How is your cabinet doing? I looked for an update and couldn’t find one but would love to know! Y’all have inspired me to get ikea detolf’s secondhand and I’m going to try to green houseify them later this week! YAY thank you for the inspiration!
Your cabinet looks wonderful! Little tip on the magnets…if you place the second magnet against the glass away from the first magnet and then slide into place it will help avoid that scary “snap” into place against the glass 😀 Hope you are enjoying your new place, it’s gorgeous!
Hi Claire! Not sure if you already know, sorry if you do, but your link to the mother lights and your discount seems to be going to a dead page, says "oops" ? I think I'm going to treat myself (my plants) in Jan to a 32 one x
Hey Lucy, sorry for the late reply to this. I've checked the link with Mother and it seems to be working ok from my end... are you still having trouble? 💚
As plants transpire they release humidity, and being kept in a contained space like that, essentially act as a humidifier for eachother. The humidity is HIGH in there!
Certainly! Here's a more polished version for your RU-vid comment: Where are you based? I've been dreaming of traveling to places like London, Egypt, and France. It would be great to get some insider advice from someone familiar with the area, so I can explore beyond the typical tourist spots! 😊
I see there are some screw holes at the backbone of your cabinet. You might want to secure a screw there and add a cable tie to secure the metal grid for further insurance :-)
Omg I just found one of these cabinets on marketplace & was already considering this but wouldn’t have known where to start do thank you both so much for sharing this detailed video ❤
Hey Claire. To get the most of your lupinum, prop it up on a moss pole. When it matures, the leaf metamorphosis is probably one of the most strikingly amazing ones out there. I love mine, and the moss pole definitely helps to speed up the growth. Cheers from Portugal
You both did a fab job on the cabinet and the plants look wonderful. Regarding the Silver Blush it seems that nobody really knows; First I was told it's a cross between crystallinum and doryaki and whichever parent's genes are strongest gives you either a crystallinum shaped or a doryaki shaped leaf and then I was told that nobody truly knows the parentage of the new ones sold on the market. I think now it is just referred to as Silver crystallinum. Mine is completely different to Yours and Emmas as mine definitely looks more doryaki shaped (with rounded leaves and the lobes tucked over) than crystallinum. If anybody truly knows please, PLEASE tell us.
Thanks Carey! Yeah the silver blush is a proper mystery... I'll keep asking and hopefully at some point find someone who can give a clear explanation 💚
hi Claire!! this is STUNNING and I'm so appreciative you showed the entire process. I'm in the middle of putting mine together and when I try to put the doors on after feeding the cords through, they don't seem to fit that well. have you had that issue? maybe your cords are slimmer than mine 😂
Ok, Claire- though I’ve binged all of your videos, I skipped this one, as I didn’t want to get sucked into the ikea cabinet craze. But oh what fun I have been missing! 😂 drawback- now I have the bug. ❤
Just out of curiosity, do you take plants out of the cabinet again too to live in your living space? I'm just about to start setting one up and I thought I'd use it as a type of nursery but then I would move plants out every now and then ...
Hello Claire! Brilliant video. So much fun and great to see your new cabinet full of your gorgeous plants. Just wondering if your Hoya macrophylla could be a Hoya Potsii Chiang Mai? I am new to Hoyas, so I dare say I am wrong!
A comment on Monstera Standleyana: I keep mine in the flat 2 meters away from a window that gets sun all day long, I have cut it back several times and propagate it in water, the cutting sulk and sulk and suck, but eventually get on with it. The mother plant started giving me leaves with more cream on it to the point where now every new leaf is a full moon. This has me worried, what will happen to my Monstera? The first 4 are seriously browning off, and the newest 5 are full cream. I heard a Malaysian youtuber call this full moon, which is not desired on a plant cos it can't photosynthesise... I am enjoying the novelty, I have a few cutting growing elsewhere, and ideally id love my mother Monstera to thrive... Do you have any thoughts?
Have two of these cabinets now, one is never enough, trouble is my plants grew so big in them that could only fit two anthuriums in, good luck with them 🙂
This is so helpful! Im wanting to set a cabinet up for my plants but I have no idea where to start and I just got so overwhelmed I gave up. I'll definitely be using this for reference; thank you 🙏💚
Absolutely thoroughly enjoyable video !! Thank you snd Emma so much. And your collection in the cabinet is spectacular. Congratulations on your new beautuful space !!
The fans need a certain amount of space in the back to function properly. I would double check by holding it a bit further from the glass and feel the air flow to see if it increases with more distance from the glass. my fans hang about 10 cm from the glass
I love you videos. I hope to make a video when I get me a new greenhouse in the spring. Got too many seeds that needs to be planted that I collected this fall.
I’ve got a milsbo, and my plants do so well in it. I’m going to get the wire grids and shelves you linked because I prefer them to what I’ve got so thanks for that💚your flat looks gorgeous with all your plants in
I’m so super happy and excited for you. Glad that you’re in your new place and that you’re really enjoying it and making it your own the cabinet. Looks good all your plants look phenomenal. Enjoy you deserve it all the way across the land and sea from Spartanburg South Carolina.
Love the purple passion. It's on my wish list. Bit of nostalgia from my younger days. I can't seem to find any in the shops. I loved watching your cabinet come together. It looks wonderful.
