I like this... As I get older I'm becoming more decisive too. I'm renewing my CBT on Weds, then moving up ASAP, Got my heart set on an R3! Wish me luck 👊

I absolutely love the R3. It was on my big bike list and I spent some time researching them and looking at availability. Stick to your guns and I'm sure you'll get one. Good luck.

If you're planning on getting a bike new, keep in mind that it's slowly coming to the time that Yamaha refreshes their R3, which is every 10 years by feel.

I dunno about you but when I ride my ZR6R or my Busa I drive soo defensive but as soon as I ride my R125 I'm more aggressive on riding style 😅🤣 small bike syndrome is a Thing haha

Thanks mate. Laren has really captured my heart and is proving to be a great introduction to big bikes.

I have found that my riding style is different too depending on which bike I'm riding. The 125 definitely needs more enthusiasm from the rider whereas the big bike needs a gentle hand.

I got one by accident looking for a project and it runs and drives and the more I study it the more I’m liking this bike lol

I got my Daytona by accident too. I was pricing up bikes. seeing how much I needed, and this one came up as a project rather cheap.

Me here listening to the pep talk whilst doing old exams to learn for an upcoming exam

But honestly, tho, I don't think setting up too strict of boundaries is healthy. You should always set standards with some flexibility built into the whole ordeal. Like let's say you're me, you say you're going to learn 3 hours per day for exams. You started reasonably early, a month or two before the exams. And then you get sick or get stuck because the trains aren't moving which shifts your plan, ending up in time lost for learning. Or some other reason. A few days before the exam, you realize that you actually need to learn a little more than 2h to get everything 100%. Decide not to, and then can't complete the task in the exam. Followed a blueprint, saved maybe an hour in total at the moment. But ended up failing the exam and then having to do all this again the next semester. Effectively, you/me have caused more harm by avoiding little harm because of some over-strict pseudo boundary. This can also cause problems if you hold your time despite having the option to maybe do less despite not reaching the 2h mark. lose, lose But if you/me said, we're going to calculate 2h into learning but with some flexibility, aka maybe some days a bit less some days a bit more. Many problems can be avoided.
