Why do people keep referring to the Eagles' opponents as "inferior?" The season is only 18 weeks. For the past 5+ weeks, the Eagles are literally one of the worst teams in the league. Six straight TD's to SF...getting thrashed by Dallas, losing to Seattle, barely getting by the Giants, and giving up four TDs ins the second half to the Cardinals....We better watch out for the Giants this week.

@@mfa525 If you can be broken by one loss, then you don't deserve to go anywhere. You got to have more character than that, these guys are professionals in a league of professionals. You lose, you get back up and fight again. And coaches have to right the ship after that. If that is the case we need a house cleaning. This kind of stuff never happened under Andy Reid. We had a few bad teams and a some bad losses here and there but he always righted the ship and got the most out of his players. If Sirianni can't get the team back after one bad loss, despite his W-L record he needs to go. They are professionals getting paid lots of money to win and suck it up when they lose.

As Bill Belichick said, "good players can't overcome bad coaching." I think the Sirianni experiment needs to end. Got out coached in the Superbowl and has spent really the entire season getting out coached. Really what's helped Sirianni is the talent, but even this talent can't overcome the inability of the coaching staff to adapt.

The players have given up on the coach. It’s really hard not to see that. Aj is pissed, smitty was trying to bring everyone back together but now he’s hurt. I think the players just don’t want to bail out the coaches like they were doing this entire season and the coaches refuse to change because they had 10 wins at the time and thought they were good. On the defensive side of the ball I don’t know how they can get better. The only thing I can think of is they have to rebuild it completely. I don’t see Aj coming back if the clown sirianni is still here next year, he might be demanding a trade. All we need is for howie to stay in the front office and let the coaches coach. Stop with this analytics bs Fire sirianni and bring in Bieniemy and allow him to run the team. I tried to like siriani but enough is enough he’s just bad.

This is a crystal clear example of why this coaching staff is incapable. You have the lightest practices in the league and all you have is a bunch of talented football players. No scheme plan or any adjustments that put the players in position. Start fresh and fire sirianni, Johnson and get a new DC❤

at this point as a diehard eagles fan , I would be happy if we beat whoever we play in the first round , get a win and then pray in the next round. This is an example of three atrocious things coming home to roost. Howies inexplicable devaluing of the LB spot , over reliance on analytics and bad coaching. This team is not devoid of talent , but good to great coaches put thier players in an area where they can maximize thier talent and minimize weakness. We have a top 5 o line, top 5 Wr core, a great RB core, a top 10 QB and talent on the d line. This is a coaching and philisophical issue. Howie needs to take a step back and hire the best coaches for the team and let them implement thier own systems and keep scouting for talent in the draft and trades.

I feel vindicated with this game and how it went. I kept saying that regardless of talent,it's the coaching that decides games at the end of the day especially how far the team goes and how well the team plays. I was told it was mostly on the players and now we all see,that it's the bad coaching and play calling

Great point about them always talking about a "standard" when they show no standards to speak of on the field. The reason why they have their corners 7 yards off the ball on 3rd and 4 is because they expect other teams to be dumb and go vertical no matter the situation like the Eagles do on offense. The self sabotage is staggering.

I got kicked out of a facebook group for saying that the season was over after the Dallas loss. You could tell by the player’s body language that they were done. Jalen, A.J., Devontae said they weren’t working to bail the offense out. Sirianni does not know what he’s doing at all. Blow this team up and start over Howie. Bring in a coach that commands the player’s respect.

We wondered early in the year, had doubts through the middle of the year, and had it confirmed today. This coaching staff is in over its head, has been unable and/or unwilling to fix problems, and the team has no belief or trust in them. Once the back-to-back bad losses came, we could see the players knew these guys couldn't hang, they bailed mentally. I cannot see any scenario where Nick keeps his job after this.

We couldn't stop a Women's high school field hockey team! Arizona had 32 first downs, didn't punt once & 50% of their plays resulted in a 1st down. And this was supposed to be a gift wrapped #2 seed. Eagles haven't had 1 game all year that wasn't a nail biter. Even the Miami game Hill dropped a ball in the endzone. The players clearly cant stand Nick Pom Poms Siriani!
