Setting Leather Studs 

Learn how to set leather studs with simple tools. If you want to make a studded leather project, you don't need expensive tools or setting machines. You can set the studs in leather with some basic tools. Mark where the stud prongs/legs will go into the leather. Then make a slot with a lacing chisel, awl or spot chisel.
