Just left Iowa yesterday after a short visit to my family. Love all the green and trees, not so much the humidity. Great food, great people, great state. Proud to be a native and watch your channel.
Big thanks from a 23 y/o plumber's apprentice and family! We love your videos, my wife even got me a Cornstar Farms shirt and pair of Pit Vipe's. Good luck with everything y'all have going on and thanks for sharing it with us!
Cole is really excited about the project. Of course, Cole is always excited. When Daddy Cornstar talked about the "crick", it reminded me of my friends from Western Pennsylvania who also talk about cricks. Watching the various farming videos often remind me of my earlier years. Lots of nostalgia. Thank you.
Cole everything is looking really really good, y'all are going to enjoy this new bin setup so much and it's an investment that will pay for itself over the years, DC has to be one proud man right now to be able to share this with his boys!!
Wow I can only imagine the pride you guys have and how proud your grandpa is looking down at you guys. I found you two years ago as a recommendation from some Christian channels and I have watched every single video.
It is so cool and so amazing to watch this project as it develops. Am I the only one living the excitement? Would be so cool to actually see it in person!
The bin site is starting to take shape. It's exciting to see it come to fruition, after waiting so long for one single study. These guys know what they are doing, and they are boogeying right along. I think all of your dreams are coming to life before your eyes. It should make farming a lot faster, especially with brand new pieces of equipment like a new dryer, and a pit to empty your crops into, and new bins to hold them safe. I can hardly wait to see the family put their first load of corn or beans into their first dryer cycle and then into the bins. Have a blessed weekend!!!
Hey Cole thank you for the video today i really needed it! My dad has pass today and i always love watching you and the Family!!!! and thank you for cheering me up!
It’s amazing Cole , what you’ve done so much in such a small amount of time . I’m sure your father is so proud of you . Also he won’t have to work as hard as he does .
That's what's known as progress. Blink from now on and you'll miss something. Get those camera batteries and SD cards ready. A time lapse of the bin build is neat no matter how many bins you've seen bins being erected. Cole did forget one thing though, you were supposed to plant an acre of sweet corn for the party. Pit beef, pit ham pit turkey BBQ/smoked pork, with sweet corn, nothing better.
Some awesome progress here cole! It's been so cool to watch your channel all the way from cleaning up scrap and pulling up tress now to some next level stuff! Love it!
What a massive job this is. Pretty exciting to see it all come together from the planning to the digging to the pouring of concrete! It is very cool how they put up the actual bins - can't wait to see that 😊 That was a MASSIVE amount of concrete!
Cole, You should somewhere put the date in the concrete of 2021. That way when the farm continues to be passed down generation to generation, someone will remember the date you did this fabulous setup! Congrats
Thanks for another great video. This was enjoyable to watch and very interesting. Your bin site is really coming together. There is a lot going on with all the contractors. Everyone is doing their part. Appreciate how you show around the site. Wow-your banker came to check up on you, Best you behave-ha!!!! Nice he checked up on your project. Lots of concrete in the old scale. Your heavy equipment man took good care of it. Lucky dad brought gas for the four wheeler. Would have been a long walk. Ha!!! Thanks for your time on the video so we can follow along with you and dad. You all take care and be safe. Thanks. The Iowa farm boy from years ago.
It is sure coming along quick. It doesn't take long when you get everyone there doing there stuff. Really looking forward to seeing it progress and get all built. I bet you will be very relieved when it's all completed and you can use it this coming harvest. Take care God bless Regards Richard.
Daddy corn star your a funny dad coming in like fleas. I think that's fly's but you version of funnier. Everything is coming together for your all. Keep them videos coming
Hey Cole. This is so exciting! As for many others, I have been watching since you were cleaning up your house and have been on the planning journey with you for this bin project. I am so happy for you and your family that this is finally going ahead. After last year, I was also concerned for you with the Hurricane warning and was pleased to hear it went around you. Hopefully there was minimal damage. Looking forward to seeing the progress on the bins but also the house renos and harvesting a bumper crop in due course. Blessings from NSW Australia 🇦🇺☺️
Hey Cole! That manhole to access your pulley for the pit will probably qualify as a confined space once your finished. Bad air can accumulate down there, asphyxiating anyone who goes down. Make sure you test the air before you go down there. Many people have died from entering spaces without oxygen. Confined spaces are no joke.
Ahh! At last visible progress on the bins! CC do not forget the toilet and shower in the dryer shack. Talk to Zack about cleaning up grain spills between the bins with a scoop shovel in Dirt! Possibly pour a simple 4" concrete floor between the bins for that troubling situation. Plus it is soooo hard to mow grass between bins lol.
You're gonna have to move a lot of dirt to build the area up for the approach and exit for the pit. It's going to really transform the landscape from what was part of the auger graveyard to a huge bin site on a hill.
It's nice when you can actually see some progress. All the preliminary stuff is so important but you don't see anything noticeable, and then... BOOM there it is!
